Prairie Lakes Golf Course: A Top Tier Experience The April Fools Open at Prairie Lakes Golf Course was an outstanding event. Spending the day on the greens with my long time Army buddy Nick provided a perfect environment for great conversation and camaraderie. While I am not a golfer the atmosphere and hospitality make this a destination worth visiting. The culinary experience was a primary highlight. The brisket sandwich featured a robust smoky flavor paired with perfectly seasoned beans and Texas toast. It is rare to find food of this caliber at a public course and I would return specifical…

Beautiful course, nice staff. Only 1 issues, golf etiquettes. Just before we made our turn, no one was in front of us, moving along nicely, got to the 10 hole, 3 gentlemen were teeing off. Waited almost 15 minutes to finally tee off ourselves, and every shot afterwards, we waited. Knowing we're better hitters, they still never let us by. Finally after waiting on them for 5 holes, we decided to loose a hole and move on. While passing them on their par 3, they tried blocking us from passing them, parking their cart in the middle and at the end of this one bridge. We barely squeezed through, even…

Played Prairie Lakes in Grand Prairie today and I couldn’t be more impressed! The course was in excellent shape, fairways were lush, and the greens were rolling true and fast. You can really tell the grounds crew takes pride in this place. The cart girl was super friendly and came around often, which is always appreciated on a hot Texas day. Beer prices were surprisingly affordable, which made the round even more enjoyable. If I had to nitpick, the pace of play was a bit slow due to the number of walkers out today, but it wasn’t enough to take away from the overall experience. This course is…

First time playing here… Absolutely beautiful golf course. Lots of views of the lake. Very lush and green. Friendly staff. Food smelled amazing. Fun layout as well. We played blue to red today. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this golf course.

Course in Grand Prairie-between 30 & 20. They have 3 nines. Tree lined fairways. Pretty tight course. It was in good shape considering it’s almost Christmas. Staff was very friendly. They also have a bbq on-site. My only complaint- very slow play- no Marshall’s.

Normally love the course with 27 holes and good conditions, pretty good greens but unacceptable management from them. Played a 2 hr 45 minute front 9 and they said oh we’re just busy…. Meanwhile they had TWO tournaments going on and still sold a full tee sheet. Junior tournament and adult tournament. We were the 2 pm tee time, at 2 there was the 1:52 group still waiting to tee off then there was a random tournament group in between us that said oh we played 9 we dont have a time to tee off for the second 9. Waited on every single tee box. No starter, teed off 25 minutes behind, 2 hr 45 minute…

As a relatively cheap public course this golf course attracts beginner golfers like myself and others. This was my second time playing here and my first time went smoothly. This second time did not. Checking into the tee time you could tell the pro shop worker was not in the best of moods which is totally fine because we all have those days. He wasn’t rude but wasn’t giving us a positive feedback. As we left and went to tee off, driving to the first hole the pro shop worker was outside and decide to yell at as from the parking lot as we are on the cart path going to the first tee. I have not b…

Overall very well maintained 27 hole course. Greens were in great shape and pretty fast. Fairways could use some help in spots. Great course. Pace was a little slow for a weekday.

My first time playing a round of golf, so I was a bit nervous. The staff was very helpful and informative. They have three 9-hole courses, so you can pick based on your skill level. (I played the white course.) It was still challenging. Water and trees are the biggest dangers. If you can hit your balls pretty straight, you will be fine. Very clean place great carts. Fees are very reasonable. Beautiful, well taken care of. I will be back.

Cool driving range. There were military helicopters flying while I was practicing, but I loved it. Bar was cool, didn't try the food but they had a great menu, will be coming back
