In summary

Grand Oaks Golf Club is often praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained course, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both new and seasoned golfers. The course layout, featuring mature trees and scenic views, is appreciated by many, and recent improvements have been noted positively. However, some visitors have reported issues with the condition of the greens and fairways, and a few have encountered problems with course amenities, such as empty hand sanitizer dispensers and inconsistent food quality.

Early tee time, full bar and wonderful service. Come see Cass and have a great day. You don't have to bring anything but your clubs. They got balls. Great course and lots of fun and course is in great shape. Marshal Charlie does a great job keeping the pace of play consistent. Savanna was super helpful in looking to plan a future event here for a fund raising effort. All of the staff were friendly and personable.

I have been playing here now for years. It is a great course to play. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The owners go out of their way to keep the course in great shape and their patrons happy! This place is a a golf “gem” in Grand Prairie!

I probably should just keep my mouth closed but I like it! Just found this place a few months ago and have played 4 times. No complaints at all. Very good customer service when checking in, on the course with the bev cart and then the cart barn attendants at the end. Course is in pretty good shape. Fairways are solid, tee boxes are sometimes a little solid, hard to put a tee in. Greens for the most part a solid 7. There are a couple that have some patches with some issues but for the most part good. They do get a bit bumpy and would be nice if they were rolled. But its a muni. Some gettable…

We went on a Wednesday evening, so it wasn't busy. The course is decent, golf carts have a small cooler attached, but aren't digital, so you have to guess how far you are from the green. The restrooms on the course don't have a sink, but do have a working toilet. However, the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. There was a spot with cold water to drink from using a disposable cone cup, and some balI cleaner and towel stations. I went home with a lot of stray balls that I found in the water!

Played Grand Oaks 3 Fridays in a row. Fantastic Shape! The owners have done a fantastic job. I’m a Golf Club Fitter at a local Golf Retailer and players are raving about the recent improvements. Keep up the great work and we’ll keep coming. Great Prices and a Great Experience!!

This may be the worst course I’ve ever played in my life. The greens are laughable at most, your ball bounces no matter what speed you hit it. If you lose a ball in the rough, good luck finding it

About 2 months new to golf and this is the 2nd full 18 hole I've played and it was so much fun. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the pace of play was good. Will be coming back.

Really bad shape right now. Would not recommend at all. Fairways and tee boxes all with long grass (the picture below is from the middle of the fairway. It is not plugged. All fairways and tee boxes were like this). Greens in very poor shape.

This place is amazing. Whomever owns it, cares a lot about it because upkeep is amazing. Lots of parking. Clean restrooms, and friendly staff. We enjoyed our time here. Not a lot of shade in the summer, but owners are thoughtful and trustworthy. Bring water and dress in Texas summer clothing. So much fun.

Picked up the Idealgolfer coupon for $25. Played at 220 on a Wednesday. I must have beat the work rush. When I arrived there were maybe 10 people on the course. When I left, the parking lot was completely full. Check in and pace of play was great. Though the greens were great. They were soft enough to make divots and they rolled true. I made a couple putts over 40 feet. The rough is pretty coarse and I couldn't power out of it on most shots, as my approach shots ended up 10 to 20 yards short. Overall, the course was great for being August. I had to battle grounds crew most the round :/ I enjoy…

Nice course in good condition. You can not beat the price for how well the course looks. 1 or 2 greens with some bad patches of grass.
