In summary

Sunset Golf Club is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, making it a suitable choice for beginners and those looking for a laid-back golfing experience. The 9-hole course offers a mix of challenging holes, although some visitors have noted that the course conditions and maintenance could be improved, with issues such as dead grass and poor greens. While many enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, there have been isolated reports of negative experiences related to customer service and inclusivity.

This 9 hole course is a fun course for the beginner and even prove challenging for the more experienced. It's not a high end course but very enjoyable. With indirect fairways, challenging bunkers and even a few watering holes, this course is so much fun and reasonably priced as a bonus. I would recommend it to everyone. Update 6/2018 - There is now a sign on the door that reads closed until further notice.

I like this place, I'm not an expert man golf, but my son and I like to go, rent a few baskets of balls and hit the little ball and we had a great time 😁😁

Course has its challenging holes and the greens are in decent shape. If you want a laid back 9 hole game at a good price this is the place for you. Bring bug replant in the spring and summer the mosquitoes can be thick at times.

This is a quite little spot that is relatively close to the big cities! The course is not incredible, I would give it a 3 star rating. However, the people who work here are above 5 star. Bob at the front counter does it all. * I left my wallet inside of one of the golf carts and Bob went out of his way to make sure that it was found in a timely manner. I will be coming back to this place just because of the welcoming environment.

I recently paid a visit to this golf club and had a miserable time. I, being an African American, along with my Latina friend came for nice outing after discovering a deal on Living Social. Although the staff seemed friendly and attentive to us, as we were beginner golfers, that was not the case at all as the motives were unfolded later in day. As we were buying golf balls, one man suggested the colored golf balls as he laughed along with the other employees. He seemed interested in us, as he followed us throughout the course, determined to help us learn the game of golf, supposedly. At one po…

Friendly staff, terrible course conditions. I know for the price ($18.00 walking) it isn't going to be spectacular, however Sycamore Creek in Ft. Worth is in better condition at a lower price. Very disappointed overall. Don't waste a twenty bill on this place.

Place is horrible! The course isn't well maintained, sprinkler heads sticking out of the ground all over the place, ant beds all over the green, grass is dead all over, trash is just thrown on the ground, missing signs at a few of the holes, certain areas of the course smell like yuck, there's a few more problems but, if you've read this much, you get the point. Ghetto as he'll but, I guess it fits the neighborhood.

Not worth it for the money, go to Fun City or Pecan Trails instead! Ground like concrete. I could have gone out with just my putter. Power lines obstruct some holes, and nothing says "concentrate" more than a drag racing strip right next door. Really, Drag Racing?

This only got 2 stars because it resembles a Golf course. Greens were terrible. Didn't even putt. Played them all as temporary. Had a pasture like feel. Adjacent to a junk yard.

This is a challenging, inexpensive 9 hole course that's fun to play. We play 9 holes from the blue tees and 9 holes from the white tees. One of my favorite places to play⛳️

Nice place to practice. Especially if your not a very good golf player like me. Play 9 hole or 18 hole golf games ⛳️

Fun course to learn the game. I have played there 4 times and enjoy the round. When it has rained the greens are nice.
