As the reviews say, hidden little course in middle of nowhere. Different elevation tee boxes and greens made this experience wonderful. The course itself is well maintained and in great shape. Only downside was the pace of play, running into slower players and since the fairways were narrow there were times we had to wait for players to get out of my fairways to hit.

Ok, let me level set here. I am rating Cedar Creek 5 stars. It is not Pebble Beach, The Old Course, or Bethpage Black. However, as a total package of value, challenge, history, course conditions, and design, this is a great course. Pros - Great layout. Lots of ample fairways with a smattering of trees throughout. Lots of elevation change, which out of towners might not expect of a Dallas course. Some cool views of downtown Dallas on the back 9 holes. - Facilities are nice. Driving range is a bit on the small side but sufficient for even a steady weekend pre-round warmup. Putting greens and c…

Nice little Dallas municipal with a deep history. Course was in great condition. Fairway, greens, tee boxes and traps all maintained nicely. The views of Downtown Dallas on a few holes is fabulous. Go give it a try you won't be dissapointed.

I have been a member at Cedar Crest for the past two years and it’s been an incredible experience. The course is consistently in great condition and the staff does an excellent job. Can't wait to play another season at the Crest!

Amazing Experience! Visiting on vacation from New Jersey, I am so happy to have gotten the opportunity to play here. DeJuan made sure I was set up with a really nice set of clubs, and made everything super easy. The course is beautiful, very well kept and the speed of play was perfect. I highly recommend.

I was able to book a tee time for my group seven days prior. My clubhouse greeting wasn't the best. While hitting balls on the range, Marshall informed us that it was cart path only. They were preparing the course for the Southwest Showcase @ Cedar Crest. I loved the layout, but the greens are small, so be mindful of that. The facility is clean and easy to navigate. Overall, it's a fun course and I look forward to playing it again.

Played 18 holes here for the 1st time and the staff was great and very helpful! I was visiting so I needed rentals as well and they were good clubs, not just the cheep clubs most places have. Had a great time with the wife and would definitely come back.

This is my first time playing this course in probably 15 years. They have really redone this course and it was great. It starts off with a nice par 5 and finishes with a par 4 up hill towards the clubhouse. The course has many holes that are up hill and downhill. The course has some tough rough. You defiantly need to stay in the short grass to shoot a low score. I recommend checking out this course and playing a few rounds. Happy golfing.

Lovely and amazing golf course with a lot of history. Hole # 8 with 360 yards down hill is of the nicest holes! Great customer service and fast gasoline powered golf carts. It makes your round faster and enjoyable!

Update 11/26/24 - course is pure right now after the Southwest showcase. Greens running fast and grass still green. Get out there soon! Update 9/29/24 - course is open again and greens are growing decent. They are keeping them very slow to get them ready for the fall, but they are back to puttable. Worth it to get back out here! Update 6/23/24 - unfortunately for the third straight summer they’ve lost about half their greens. I love this place and its mission, come support them by practicing on the range, but I wouldn’t play the course until August to see if they can salvage them. Played 5/…

Really friendly staff. Course probably was up there in its hay day! Great layout! Greens however weren't that good. Hard and no grass on them.
