In summary

Keeton Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its scenic setting near downtown Dallas, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a layout that accommodates both new and seasoned golfers. The staff, particularly manager Ty, receives high marks for their friendliness and service. However, some visitors have noted issues with patchy greens, slow pace of play, and occasional management hiccups, such as equipment problems and delays due to weather conditions. Despite these concerns, many find the course to be a great value and a pleasant golfing experience.

Nice quiet spot with plenty of parking. We got a large bucket of balls for $12. The hitting areas on the range were a bit patchy, but there were several open bays when we arrived midday. It was definitely a quieter area than Tenison on a Sunday afternoon. Edit: played 18 holes here. Greens were a bit patchy, but it was a fun course. Decently maintained for the price.

Great course overall with really nice views. The greens were a little bumpy, but still a good experience. (We’re from Houston)

This has been my go-to course now for at least 3 years. Tons of fun, and is in good shape most of the time. The culture here is 10/10 and one of my favorite places to bring new golfers.

The idea was to go to the driving range to practice because you don’t have to hit off mats…The problem? You have to hit off sand…not grass and the range balls look like they’re 2-3 years old. Scratches and not even clean, but charge $11 for a large that isn’t even filled all the way. $45 green fees with cart is a crazy price for this course. Been coming here for years but it’s gotten pretty bad.

***Edited to add photo from another group game we played here*** Our group played at Keeton park for the 3rd time this last Saturday - There is a reason we keep coming back! The manager Ty and the entire staff are excellent hosts. The concession lady was very personable and made plenty of rounds as always. This course has some fun and challenging greens, as well as a few interesting holes. Keeton Park always makes for an excellent day of golf! Thanks for hosting us!! Kory, Double Bogey Golf

Really a beautiful course, tucked away in Dallas. The layout is great, and very easy to follow for a first timer. Only complaint I have, is that the young guys at the clubhouse are a bit rushy, and seemed inconvenienced by my questions. Also, they were letting people tee off at whatever time, and around hole 13, I was having to wait 10 minutes or so between each shot. Will definitely play here again, I thoroughly enjoyed the course!

Really awesome course, especially for the price! You’re just a few minutes from downtown Dallas, but you would hardly know it when you’re on the course. Tons of mature trees, the trees do a great job of protecting the course. It’s the perfect amount of challenge for a weekend golfer. I also have to mention the staff, everyone is a pleasure to deal with. Ty, in particular, was awesome, 5 star service!

This has become our go to municipal golf course. It usually isn’t that crowded and everybody here is very nice. Greens were rolling true today. Nice way to spend a Sunday evening.

Nice course, play a little slow. Good for the average player few challenging holes some with water in play.

Course was in excellent condition other than a few greens and no water coolers. Even though the pro shop guy was late in opening up, he sent guys off quickly to their tee times and had them check in after 9 to pay. Friendly and not stuffy. More municipal/city courses in the DFW area could take some lessons from this friendly and positive approach in the clubhouse/proshop. Great experience all around!

The best value for public golf in Dallas. Quality course. Driving range is grass only which is a plus. The other practice areas are large and nice. The course is pretty solid. For everyday play it is a great course.

The greens are actually nice but the chubby guy with long hair at the register was really rude and mean. Besides him it's a solid course ,everyone else was cool.
