Lakewood Country Club

Great place to host an event. Staff is friendly and helpful with quick replies. Atmosphere is a little more laid back than other clubs we’ve had events at! Smaller and more intimate environment but also plenty of space and additional room if needed with access to outdoor patio! Food was very good compared to other venues.

I attended Peggy Leeman - Ramirez 90th Birthday dinner celebration on August 16,2024. All of the staff from Abby to Margarita was very helpful and so FRIENDLY! The folks working the pasta bar to the ice cream sundae bar were so quick and efficient. The atmosphere and food were delicious ( as it ALWAYS is. ) Our family feels like LCC is our second home. I had a delightful time dining at Lakewood Country Club. The Red snapper I had was absolutely fantastic. My compliments to the chef! My daughter is still raving about the tender delicious steak in her Korean dish. And the staff was so friendly and engaged. We will definitely be back. To the managing staff...We'll done!! Food consistently fantastic and staff always courteous, friendly and attentive!

Remind the people that play golf to keep the ball on the green. It’s not that hard. Don’t hit it onto Brookside where people drive, And don’t hit it onto Santa Fe Trail, where people walk. There have been too many close calls for drivers and pedestrians. Paying $100,000 a year to play there I know you’re not idiots. Keep it on the green.

Fantastic customer service! I’m leaving this review to highlight their greatest team member: Brock. Brock is a Jack of all trades. He would bring us our food lickity-split. Bing bang boom. It was just like that. Brock turns this mediocre establishment into an experience that all shapes and sizes of people can enjoy.

I have never had an issue with any other staff except the new managers Roger and Madeline. Roger yelled at me because I took a 10 break after working 5 hours straight. I told them both to not yell at me and he said I don't think you are a good fit. They also accused me of stealing which I am proud to say I don't steal from anyone.

This is mainly towards the golf shop people, they are arrogant and they talk down to you, I believe it is to compensate for their sense of insecurity or superiority, low self-esteem, and fear of competition.

Great menu that changes regularly. Im always happy and satisfied.
