In summary

Twin Wells Municipal Golf Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, fast and true greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual rounds and tournaments. Visitors appreciate the reasonable green fees and the enjoyable layout, though some note issues with course management, slow pace of play, and occasional inconveniences such as closed driving ranges and outdated payment systems. Despite these concerns, the overall experience is generally positive, with many recommending the club for its value and quality.

This place is a fun place to hold a minor event, the food was surprisingly good! Had the club. The bar staff is friendly and the service is fast. The driving range is wide and has lots of grass to hit from, it has mats as well for rainy days. The Club was nicely done with rolls of turkey and ham rather just a slice or two! The fries were good as well. Above average lunch!! The golf course, my kid loves to play and a good practice green and chipping area is as good as few private clubs I have been too, the chipping green could use a bit more hitting area the longest shots seem to be 15 yards.

They charge you a fee if you have someone who’s with you, not playing! I’ve been to 3 or 4 courses in the DFW and was never charged for having someone extra. I’ve been to this course 3 times and was never charged an extra fee. Safe to say, won’t be returning! Grasses are mediocre for the price. Only reason we would come here is because of convenience. But after today, I’ll drive to Grand Prairie better.

Played in an unbelievably fun tournament run by Mr. Robert McMillan himself! The staff, cart girls, pro shop were awesome. The superintendent out there deserves more credit than he’s getting, this place is in unreal. Greens were the best I’ve rolled on a public course. The condition of the course was immaculate (especially for the winter). Great track.

A fun course with descent green fees. The course is in excellent condition and just challenging enough to make it fun.

Was a pretty good course, but the staff and people were horrible. I was behind a group that was very slow. We were waiting and waiting on every hole. On our 9th hole, we hit while they were on the green. It was a par 5. Out balls landed nowhere near the green, and they reported us to the clubhouse for trying to hit them with our balls. Our time was cut off at the ninth hole. Would not recommend this course. First time here, and the staff were very disrespectful. I will not be attending here again😡

I love this course. Played here back in November and it was well structured and course placement was nice. Great course but was a bit muddy due to rain the day before and was cart path only. Had trouble with golf cart on some holes as they lock them when you go over cart parth but great course overall!

This course was a gem!!! Great greens and a super fun layout. Too many courses are charging an arm and a leg for a green fees and charging junior golfers high priced green fees. But not this course good price on green fee and no charge for my 13 year old son... Highly recommended

Nice course- good shape. Fast greens. Nice practice area for a good price. Give it a shot! They would be at least 4 stars but their bunkers need Some attention.

The course was in great shape. Weather this time of the year was also great. Pace of play very good. Greens were a bit fast.

Worse course management ever. Finished hole seven to roll up to a group of 4 on hole eight. With one of the carts trying to drive across the fairway and having to back up. Plus two more groups waiting to tee off on hole eight. Made a jump to clubhouse and grab a snack and they didn’t even have anything available but chicken sandwich’s ready. Jumped in at 10 behind a group of 6 and get to play another hole. Swinging back around to get back on our hole and everything was backed up and out a whack. Then had the kid from the pro shop rolls up and starts telling me I can’t jump holes. Yet you want…

Even if everyone complains in the review, the golf course doesn't care at all. They know that even if we protest, there will be a lot of customers anyway. And reservations in the morning are unconditionally given only to local seniors, and others cannot make reservations at all. So I think about it, I will post a message in a place that can be seen nationwide and say that it is a golf course that should never be visited.

This course earns a solid 4+ rating. The greens fees are very reasonable, and the greens themselves are quick and true, which adds to the overall value. While some areas around the course could use a little improvement, the general condition is quite good. One downside is the lack of on-course card payment options for food and drinks. Instead of using a mobile payment system, the cart staff takes your card back to the clubhouse to process the charge, then returns to find you on the course. It’s a minor inconvenience, but a small investment in Android devices and a system like Square or Stripe…
