In summary

Rock River Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained and picturesque course, which offers a unique layout with a challenging front nine and a more open links-style back nine. The staff, particularly individuals like Caleb and Laura, are noted for their exceptional service and dedication to ensuring a positive experience for guests, whether for golf or events like weddings. However, some visitors have mentioned issues with maintenance, such as damaged cart seats and unkempt bunkers, and occasional disruptions from maintenance activities during play.

We had an incredible experience at The Rock Golf Club. From start to finish, everything about the venue was exactly what we were hoping for. The setting is beautiful, well kept, and made for the perfect atmosphere for our event. A huge shoutout to Caleb, who truly came in clutch for us. He was extremely helpful, easy to work with, and made sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience, and that made all the difference. If you are looking for a venue that looks great and has a team that goes above and beyond, this is the place.…

Tale of two nines. Back is links-style, front is tree-lines with fairways as tight as my buddies' wallets. Nice course and in very good shape. The greens were quite challenging as well. Will definitely play again if I'm in the area.

We really enjoyed their Easter brunch. They had so many items to choose from. There were tables filled with various foods and desserts. Everything tasted delicious, and their amazing wait staff did a great job.

Course layout was good, greens had a fair amount of variation and challenging, and was overall in good condition. Unfortunately, the riding carts all had damaged seats, and the minimal clubhouse left something to be desired. Avoid the buckers at all costs, they hadn't been raked in what seems like weeks and we're unplayable.

Great golf course middle of fall leaves are raked all but 2 holes of the 18 hole course. Good price for cart and person 40$ tee times where spaced up pretty good no one was pushing me as I'm a slow golfer. The range is decent too has a token system there so if you don't use all the tokens you can save them for a later day 😉

Loved the patio and the renovations of the building are amazing!! Only complaint is that the dining room is loud and echoey!

This is in my Top 5 courses in the state that I've played (I'm not counting pro level courses). This course is split up into vastly different 9 hole courses. The front is heavily wooded with old growth trees that almost force a carefully faded drive or, to be safe, a low-iron shot. The back is a more open links-style course that can demand some shot creativity. Natural water hazards created by the Rock River add a bit of extra flavor. Greens play faster than you'd think when it's dry. The course is beautifully maintained and the staff is always friendly. Other things of note. The front nine f…

August 2020 we held our wedding reception at the Rock and it was beyond perfect. The clubhouse is absolutely beautiful and the course is stunning. It's also reasonably priced. I highly recommend anyone looking to host an event to check out the Rock. Laura (the manager) was there all night to make sure it went smoothly and to take care of us. The food was amazing! The bartenders were great and friendly. The layout of the building works perfectly for events. I can't say enough great things about it.

We recently got married here at The Rock Golf Club. It was beyond perfect! The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful and offers plenty of gorgeous photo opportunities. The food was excellent and everyone loved it and complimented it. The staff here did everything they could to make our day special. I want to give a shout-out to Laura, she and her team will work so hard to make your day memorable. Thank you for everything!
