In summary

Roughrider Golf Course is frequently praised for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course offers a unique experience with its 9-hole setup and different tees for an 18-hole feel, along with reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have noted issues with weeds on the fairways and ground squirrels, as well as occasional concerns about player etiquette on the course.

I love roughrider. Its got plenty of challenges to keep you honest, forgiving fairways. It has potential to be so much more if they would take care of the weeds in the fairways and hire a pest control guy full time. Richardson ground squirrels basically own it and let us play there

Delivered tires for Tires Plus at the base but can't go there because we need badges and they check your vehicle every time you go there. But I call and let them know that I am on my way. Very nice people. Keep up the good work.

Greens are great, soft. The tee boxes need a little work. The 2nd cut is thick, it makes you make good solid contact. The fairway could also use a little work, alot of weeds. You are able to hit down thru the ball, club doesn't bounce. The wind makes it a real challenge. Enjoyed the round.

I love this course. Challenging and not too busy that you’re being pushed. Only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that from midseason there are way too many weeds on the fairways!! Please spray the fairways this upcoming season!!

Decent beginner or friendly course. Greens have too much sand on them to dry them out. Otherwise, good prices and friendly staff. Will come back to practice more!

One of the toughest 9-hole courses I've ever played. And, even though it's attached to Minot Air Force Base, it's open to the public, getting on-base is not required. The manager, Mike, does everything possible to ensure a good round and the grounds staff keep the place clean and looking proper.

My girlfriend and I were out at the driving range today and Jeff came over to give me some pointers. I'm new to golf (only been one time) and all of his advice was extremely beneficial to my swing and easy to understand. What a nice guy. If you're reading this Jeff; you're the man.

Staff is friendly and The course is okay. a little boring but still okay for cheap golf, but the problem is the people that go there I’ve played there 7 times this yeah and all but 2 someone has hit on top of me without any warning. I got hit with a ball in July and still gave it another chance but after today, I’m done with this place. Pay the extra $10 and go somewhere else

The greens were in fantastic shape, the fairways were good and amazingly playable given all the ground hogs the staff has to deal with.

It’s an excellent course. It’s the best 9 hole course I’ve ever seen tbh.

Fun course 9 hole course. They have different tees if you want to do 18 so you get a different look. Full clubhouse.
