In summary

Souris Valley Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds and beautiful setting, offering a challenging layout that accommodates both beginners and experienced golfers. However, some visitors express concerns about the management and staff, citing issues with customer service, rushed play, and a lack of amenities such as a beverage cart. While many enjoy the course's affordability and friendly atmosphere, others suggest improvements in hospitality and organizational policies.

I am 14 and I love this course. I play this a lot with my friends. We either walk 9 or 18. Only problem is if it’s a rainy year the back 9 can get a little wet, but that is totally OK with me. The front nine is beautiful. It plays good. It’s a great distance for me playing the white tees sometimes blues just an overall great course. I recommended It for players who are just getting into golf or have played for a while

They need to space out the tee times better. Kids 15 and under should have a parent or adult with them to monitor their pace of play they are teeing off 3 balls a piece holding multiple carts up at every hole. Grounds are nice for minot, course takes some skill in spots which is nice. staff is older and they like to close up before close so they won't let you golf 18 after 430 which is ridiculous

My family and I came to this golf course for the first time. We were beginners and wanted to try something new. Staff was so RUDE and basically bullied us out of playing the 9 hole because we would hold up the line. We said we wanted to try and they advised us to not play because they were “very busy” and there’s “a lot of people out there today”. They told us to go to the driving range instead. I wish I checked the reviews on this place before visiting. So many people complained about management and I agree. The grounds are beautiful but staff could be better. There’s no need to give attitud…

To make the story short, we were treated very poorly by the rangers. We were profiled before we started and then followed throughout our game to be continuously harassed. Needs some younger generation staffing. We deserved the refund we requested. Our advice is to go golf at The Wildwood course in Burlington. Way better prices, better staff, and a drink cart.

First time golfing. Staff seemed nice enough until one person behind us decided to complain about my group taking too long and got management involved. Granted, we had been happily letting people pass us all day and everybody was very kind and gracious and even stopping to talk to us about the sport, but the complaint didn’t come until this guy was the only person behind us. This didn’t completely ruin the day for us though, it’s what came after. I had unknowingly lost my wallet at some point on the course and someone kindly turned it in. I returned to retrieve the wallet, fully intending to g…

This is a beautiful well maintained golf course. Very friendly staff and pro. I highly recommend play. It is also very reasonable for 9 and 18 holes. It does have a slight problem with northern geese. I play 9 holes most mornings and find it very relaxing and enjoyable.

Great course for being smack in the middle of town. Well taken care of with a very friendly staff, but the construction really did not help matters! I'm sure once it's all said and done, it will be back to it's former glory. Also might have to putt about 2 feet from some geese (very bad goose problem, expect for your irons to be covered in good poo)

Nice city course. Always dealt with nice staff in the club house. But id say “Poor” management. Been there multiple times in the evening and have had the golf pro and marshall rushing you to finish because their worried bout sunset, and not because we were playing slow. There is no beverage cart, no club restaurant. The course and club house have a lot of potential, IMO it just needs newer leadership/management.

Maintained very well. Staff was very nice. Very affordable. The Par 3s are at different yards which makes it a challenge. This course is beautiful.

Beautiful course, but the Ranger pushes you through the front nine so fast you can't relax enough to play and enjoy your game. We were forced to play through the military couple in front of us(military appreciation day) who cought right back up so we teamed up and played best ball and that still was not fast enough for the Ranger. When we got to the back nine it was so backed up we had to wait a long time. Nice place just get rid of the pushy Ranger so people can enjoy a round of golf. The Ranger makes you feel like you should just give the pro shop a $100 and go home.
