Ruth Park Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering a good value for the price. The course features a driving range and is noted for its smooth greens and wide fairways. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service and pace of play during peak hours, which can detract from the overall experience.

Perfect 9 hole course. Damp day but course in very good shape, greens rolling very well, challenging layout, staff top notch! Couldn’t have been more friendly and inviting. Will be playing again!

Course was in great shape. Tee time was as scheduled. Pace of play was excellent. Never had to wait on the foursome in front of us. Excellent 9 hole

This a perfect round of nine. Range, too. The course is in terrific shape, rarely backs up too much, and there are two very challenging holes (#2 and #5). Par is gettable if you putt well. Definitely a well-kept secret and less mainstream alternative to FoPo or Creve Couer which are slower rounds.

Course in good shape. Staff friendly. Played for first time today. Course is fair. Not tricked up. But not enjoyable due to terrain. Many holes with steep left to right tilts on tee shots. If you want to end up in fairway off the tee, you must drive into left rough. Several blind shots. Greens are well maintained. Whereas not much undulation, all are tilted back to front, and lightening fast. No frog hair at all around greens. A par five is impossible to keep ball on green. Slanted back to front. Almost like miniature golf. You can putt towards hole, and ball may come back towards you and down…

Nice golf course with cart rentals, putting green, free parking, a very small gift shop with bottled water & drinks, golf necessities & no rest rooms. There is seating outside but that’s about it. The golf course and putting green is very well cared for and everyone is considerate and happy. The course hosts teen golfers and workshops so at those times it's a little crowded but most often not. The Clubhouse could be nicer and include restrooms.

I play Ruth all the time. It's a great little course for your money. 13$ gets you nice zoysia fairways and relatively smooth greens. Pace of play can be an issue during peak hours, but you can't expect much from a municipal course. It's the perfect nine hole course for after the office.

Nice place to play. Greens are a challenge as they have different levels. Challenging if you don’t keep it in be fairway. Well maintained. Driving range as well. Can play at a great price. Part 2 of my review. Had some clubs re-gripped right before the club house closed due to the pandemic. Did a great job at a great price and had the clubs back in less than 24 hours.

Me and a couple buddies had a tee time on Friday the 27th. We arrived at Ruth Park at 9:50 for our 9:57 tee time. I’m never one for warming up. We walked into the clubhouse, waited in a small line, then when we got to the counter to check in the young manager said that we were late and couldn’t play. I was shocked at first. Thought it was a joke. But he was serious. He stated that we needed to arrive 10 minutes early to be considered on time. No where in the app in which I booked stated this. No one was on the first tee box, it was wide open. We tried to talk to him but he was too high up on h…

Do not go here if you want to be told you are playing too slowly when you are stuck behind 2 groups at every tee box. We arrived at least 10 minutes early for our tee time, as to be respectful and begin on time. The group 2 in front of us were playing slowly so we were not able to tee off on time. We had to wait for them and the group in front of us (who were also trying to play quickly). We still played the first hole quickly as to not slow the group behind us down. After the second hole, the Marshall came to let us know we were not playing with speed and needed to be respectful of the hole t…

I have hit multiple times at the range and never had an issue. I decided to book a tee time on the course with a friend and was let down drastically. The course its self was decent. The service? Horrid and disgraceful. There is an older woman who tends the front counter on the weekends who is the most rude and disrespectful person I have encountered in a long time. I called just to make sure the course was still open, considering the fact it was raining all day. She answered the phone with a rude attitude and basically said I was stupid for even calling to ask. I also asked to reserve a cart s…

Great 9 hole municipal course. Not too hard but some holes can give you trouble. A par on the 5th hole is a great score: it has a 2 tier green and heaven forbid you're on the top with the pin on the lower level. Never seem to have trouble getting on the course. It's fairly inexpensive: about $15 to walk on the weekend. There is a nice new driving range too.
