In summary

The Courses at Forest Park are praised for their well-maintained conditions, scenic setting, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for both golf and events like weddings. The variety of course layouts offers something for all skill levels, with particular appreciation for the Redbud and Dogwood courses. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, older golf carts, and communication challenges with the clubhouse.

Had my wedding reception here and wanted to shout out our wonderful coordinator Tram-anh! The venue was beautiful and they accommodated for the limited parking by shuttling guests to the venue on golf carts. Tram-anh made sure everything went smoothly and it’s a day I’ll never forget! Highly recommend having ur wedding here!! The care and coordination was top notch 🩷

First time playing at Forest Park Golf Course and it was very enjoyable. I played the Dogwood 9 and it has nice open fairways to drive and set up for a 100 yard approach. The course is very well taken care of. The golf carts were clean and electric. I enjoyed the scenery. You will hit over water, so if water gravity is an issue for you like me, then bring an extra ball. On the par 3’s check your distance and pick a club you know you can carry the green with. Very enjoyable and I highly recommend.

I played in a tournament at Forest Park over the weekend and the course was in decent shape and the event was smoothly ran. Being an idiot I left my wallet in the cart and it was picked up and turned in by a staff member. I called and was told it was at the pro shop in lost and found and that I could come and retrieve it whenever. All my money was intact and I would be leaving a 5 star review if not for the Food and Beverage Manager. I came back to get my wallet an hour before they closed and the pro shop door was unlocked. When I went to go inside I was stopped by the F&B mgr and she explaine…

Great public course. We played the flat, open Hawthorne nine and the hilly, challenging, but fair Redbud nine. Solid conditions considering the volume of golfers who come through. They have some very helpful course info on their website (Play Golf —> The Course). I give it 4 stars only because of the price—$70 to ride.

OH MY GOSH! Everything was just so beautiful and gorgeous. We had our wedding reception here and we felt like we walked into a dream. We want to give a big shout out to Lexi for making sure everything ran smoothly. She is such an amazing person and answered any questions I had throughout the process. Thank you thank you thank you Lexi! And thank you FPGC team! We maxed out at 250 people, and had so many compliments!

We've photographed weddings here for over 13 years and the staff are always to work with and our couples love them! Gorgeous venue that is a perfect backdrop for a wedding!

Played in a scramble tournament today. Weather was cold, muggy, and rainy but Meg, our beer cart girl, was a rock star. She kept it fun, kept us hydrated, and kept us entertained throughout. There are many reasons to play Forest Park but she is another reason we’ll be back 👍

It's going to be over 50 degrees today. If you're closed have a message that states that. Instead the phone just rings and rings and nobody picks up 👎

The course is in great shape but don't expect to play fast. We teed off at 7:15 am and our round took almost 5 hours.

Lovely course and staff. Played on a Monday by myself and had the course to myself. Great conditions, no one ahead of me, and the staff was super helpful in finding things around the course. The prices are very reasonable, although their rentals are quite quirky as the 9 and 18 hole rentals are the same price, which seems odd.

We didn't necessarily play golf 😆😂🤣 We took pictures on the beautiful grounds. Sooo, we were headed to Forest Park to take pictures 📷 of my little gift from God Adus'Ray's 4th birthday and my friend/brother Andrew Chad Caldwell stopped and took these beautiful pictures for us. I was in the background telling Adus'Ray what to do because he does not like taking pictures. He was Spiderman, the Hulk and Ironman. He has autism and doesn't like taking pictures. In the end, he loved the superhero shots. #LightUpWithKindness 💙 💙 💙 💙 #autismgrandma
