Salishan Spa & Golf Resort

I went for the Spa as a Birthday gift. What a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful place; fireplace, lovely hard wood floors and wonderful products. Great staff too, I gave 4 stars because the amount of products (especially mud and after oil used on me were the bare minimum. I could have used another coat of the body oil.

For me, the value of Salishan Coastal Lodge really comes down to the unique blend of the Pacific Northwest setting and the convenience of having everything on-site for a family trip. While the dining options can be pricey, the resort's beautiful, forested grounds and family-friendly amenities offer a restorative experience that feels like a solid return on investment. I’ve found that focusing on the natural surroundings and the convenience for my son makes the stay feel worthwhile, even if some of the room interiors aren't the most modern. My wife and I came for the king tides and got a room with an incredible view of the bay. Check in was easy, staff is excellent. The grounds are beautiful and it was a joy to relax there, even in the Oregon winter. We enjoyed the spa area and it was a highlight of the trip. We also got pizza and beer at the brewery across from the hotel in the shop area and it was excellent. This is the only place we want to stay in Lincoln City from now on.

We came for a relaxing getaway and to celebrate my husband’s birthday and like every other visit before, we did enjoy ourselves. That being said, the tail end of spring break is probably not the time to come if you’re looking forward to a fully relaxing adult weekend. There were definitely a few details that fell short for us this time and I truly believe it was due to an overwhelmed staff and just too many people booked for the same long weekend. Kyanne was wonderful. She was attentive and was there whenever we needed anything. What a pleasure to have her as our waitress. Dinner was wonderful and so were my drinks. Five stars all around. Thank you Kyanne!

I thought the Salishan was over-promised and under delivered. The saunas that were included with the room reservation were not hot enough and a bit dingy. The overall experience at the pool/hot tub area was underwhelming because it felt outdated and children being present. I am sure the Spa was nice, but that costs extra and had no availability at the time of stay. Golf was extra, golf simulator was extra, food was pricey and not up to par. The coffee shop on site claimed "best bagels in Oregon", but were far from it (very chewy, as if a day old and microwaved). The Dog washing station was jus…

We’ve stayed here in the past, and came back for good reason. Recognizing we are in off season times, we were still impressed with the staff and special touches (like the hazel nut brittle at the front desk). Our room on this occasion was the larger premium king bed room, and we LOVED the view of the bay! The shower water in our room only stayed warm for about 3 minutes (?) and the furniture in the room was a bit beat up…but these were small problems compared the the beauty of the location. Lovely place. Rustic and a bit tired. I rated it high because the rooms have been updated and quite nice. First time here. Probably will come back. One criticism, the night lighting in parking lot is horrible. Overhead lighting would help visibility of the roadway and most importantly make pedestrians more visible.

The Provision at Salishan was Delicious AND EXCELLENT customer service 🥰 my daughter got the avocado and toast and I ordered the classic breakfast and French toast. It was picture perfect and we gobbled it up before we could take any pictures LOL! Thank you Toni and Jeff for making our getaway a little more amazing! DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Salishan Lodge! Every part of our experience was smooth and enjoyable. We appreciated the variety of activities available, the incredible value and accommodating staff. Our double queen was easily large enough for our family of four. Yes, the resort is outdated, albeit in a charming way, and you’re not paying for a 5-star experience, but we couldn’t have been happier!

Salishan costal lodge was an extreme let down. We decided to book a 2 night getaway for our honeymoon. Immediately seemed like every guest was crammed into one building section as we had neighbors above, below and at all sides. Thankfully the front desk staff was kind, helpful and understanding about this situation and offered to move our room no charge. Rooms are extremely underwhelming and outdated. Not to mention not throughly cleaned. Cabinets, mini fridge location, behind couches and bed were all visibly dirty and dusty. Rooms are truly outdated and require desperate renovating, nothing s…
