Sandy Ridge Golf Course is praised for its beautiful layout, fast greens, and well-maintained fairways, with many appreciating the recent clubhouse renovations and friendly staff. The course is noted for its challenging play, particularly due to the small, fast greens and unique hole designs. Fantastic new club house with friendly staff and great food. Not only do they host outings but allow there new club house to be used for other events like anniversaries, birthdays, showers, and weddings. Course is absolutely beautiful with very fast greens. Walking and riding are both available but I would recommend walking for a great workout. I would definitely recommend this course to all golf lovers!

This course is quite beautiful from a layout and nature perspective. I do enjoy playing here. The greens are huge, with lots of challenging elevation. But they are hard and fast. Most of the course is hard and dry. Im not sure if this is a season long issue or just timing for when I happen to be there. To be fair, I only play here about once a season. It also would have been nice to have the traps raked before a huge outing. With the few negatives out of the way, I really do enjoy this course. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I can see that lots of work is being done to improve certain…

The course is beautiful--very well maintained. Fast greens. Not terribly busy, so it was great to play at our own speed and not be rushed. A little more expensive than other local courses. Hadn't been to this course in a number of years, so this was my first time there in a while. Will definitely be back!

Whether you're part of an outing or a foursome, Sandy Ridge is absolutely the course to play. Located conveniently between Midland and Bay Counties it has a moderately challenging 18 holes. The new owners have put experience and love into this wonderful club. Make sure to come and show your support, it the best around.

There for our nephew's pre wedding events. Recently renovated and really nice. The food was spot on and very generous portions. Enough most probably won't get to the fries or chips if they finish the wrap/burger/chibata roll their entre was served in!

Played a scramble on Friday June 13th 2025. The new clubhouse looks amazing. Greens were true and quite faster than previous years played . Makes for a better roll if you ask me . The whole staff were courteous and helpful on the course and inside as well . Overall, it was a great golf experience . I shall be back .

Nice clubhouse, but the course is probably in the worst condition I have ever seen it. Fairways are all weeds. The greens are weeds cut way too short. Maybe we need to hire a new greenskeeper. My name is Troy not Trent. No disrespect I see you’re doing a work. I’m sure in a few years the course will be nice. But wow tee boxes are horrible and weeds everywhere! I don’t know what you’re looking at. The greens are unplayable.

Very nice upgrade to the building and a fabulous patio. Beautiful course to play.I golf with a group of women and the wait staff in the bar and service floor has been difficult to get their attention, unless your a male gender. The few times we came in for drinks and food after we played, was unpleasant and unprofessional. We never were served a drink or food, just menus slid over on the table and no return to take our order. I didnt feel our age group was intimidating to these girls. I would like it in the future to have courteous service and maybe we might be able to order off the menu to en…

Fast and challenging greens. They are small and have some minute angles to them so your short game will have to be perfect to score well. Fairways are a bit skinny on the back 9 where the course basically just goes back and forth in straight lines. There are quite a few interesting holes where you are hidden in the woods or hitting into blind areas. There is a bit of course maintenance happening on the back 9 that makes it difficult to play accurately. Overall, pretty good for the money but it can be frustrating if you miss the green.
