This resort is definitely one of a kind! They are currently celebrating 150 years of being in business. There is so much history that really made me feel like I was time traveling. The place is enormous and rich in beauty, and their service is beyond warming. I have never been in a lake so clean and pure. I strongly recommend going for a couple of days to get away from the city.

Just got back from a great weekend at Scott’s Family Resort! This was our first time visit with the family and it exceeded our expectations. In many ways, it was a step back in time and so much fun. Between the sing-along boat tour, the kids tubing, pristine swimming area, fantastic service and great homestyle cooking, this was one of our top family trips!! And Trivia Night was an added bonus! We will be back next summer!

Well- when I found out that “The Marvelous Mrs. Mazel” had been filmed there the previous summer I just had to visit. We even stayed in the same cottage that Midge and her family stayed in on the show. The Scott family made our July 4th weekend a memorable one as we were transported back in time to the 1950s. We truly enjoyed our escape to a simpler time. Staying at this resort is a very unique experience and we feel so very fortunate to have had it. I loved that our children felt free to roam the resort without us and that we felt free to let them. The resort, run entirely by the Scott family…

We found out about Scott’s Family Resort after we watched the Amazon Prime series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. 3 episodes of Season 2 were filmed there so we just had to go check it out! Scott’s Family Resort is beautiful. Family owned and operated they are celebrating their 150th anniversary this year. The resort is full of old school family fun and hospitality! Tucked away in the foothills of the Catskill mountains we really enjoyed our relaxing time. The guest rooms are old with CLEAN bathrooms right out of the 1970’s so don’t expect anything modern or fancy. They have cabins/cottages for ren…

This was our fourth year of coming to Scott's to work on our ballroom dancing and relax for a few days. It is a unique resort. It has been in operation since 1870. There is no AC nor spa. The accommodations are not the best but that is not why you come to Scott's. You come to enjoy all that Ray & Doris and there family and friends do to make your stay enjoyable. They put on shows to entertain the guest at night and their orchestra plays ballroom dance music until about 11 pm. There is a beautiful lake for swimming & fishing.

They have an old bowling alley where you have to manually set your pins, a table with a chess board built into it, antique shuffle board table, so much really nice old memorabilia. Take a day trip and wander around, spend the night or even a wknd just to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! I'm sure you won't regret it!!

This is a gem of a resort. The idea of disconnecting and enjoying time with family and new found friends is invaluable. My “city kids” were off their devices loving every minute of table shuffle board, ping pong, bowling (even if they had to set their own pins). My 15 yr old daughter said, “this is really a cute place,” lol. The 50s vibe is amazing and such a welcomed change. The rooms are not 4 star but they are clean and are a throwback in a really great way. They recently shot the Marvelos Mrs. Mavel here and it’s evident why. The lake is fantastic. Patty (owner with her husband and family)…

Unique, exceptionally fun and relaxing venue. My husband and I got married here and have nothing but wonderful things to say. It's by no means fancy but the owners are kind and accommodating and the location couldn't be more beautiful.

From the minute we arrived, Patty and Gary welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. If you remember your youth fondly and wax nostalgic about it, come to Scott’s. The warmth, the friendship and the fun will bring back yesterday. Ginger Streetman

Lots of memories from over the years and lots more made on our most recent visit. Had a blast and I sure hope to get to sing along with Gary and Bill once again. Thanks everyone for making our stay special. Eve (of the Leeks)

Dated but nostalgic old resort on a beautiful lake. Carpeting on walls of main hall hail to the 70s or 80s. Rooster and Roadhouse Horns Band were excellent.

This place is run down and dilapidated. The staff is horrible, if you can find anyone in the eerie desolate "resort". And if youre lucky enough to find an employee, chances are they will treat you like garbage. The staff has a wonderful way of making sure you dont feel comfortable or welcome. There are plenty of other nice, friendly places to stay.
