In summary

Shadowbrook Inn & Resort receives positive feedback for its friendly and attentive staff, well-maintained golf course, and pleasant dining experiences, particularly the BBQ offerings. The setting is appreciated for its scenic views and peaceful atmosphere. Some guests, however, note issues with overbooking on the golf course leading to slow pace of play, as well as occasional delays in restaurant service. There are also mentions of outdated hotel decor and the need for renovations in certain areas.

Love all the server's. Jake, Julia, Emma, Leila. With all of them and including the manager Casey bring back the meaning of hospitality. They make me feel like I'm norm on cheers. Lol.

Decent short golf course where the overall experience depends on the day. They often overbook and I’ve been to this course in the late afternoon on a weekend with the sprinklers going on the first three holes. They’re also often overbooked to where pace of play is unbearable. Solid course if you go at the right time though

I recently dined at Shadowbrook for BBQ and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, with the BBQ standing out as the highlight of the meal. The flavors were rich, and the meats were cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. The sides complemented the BBQ perfectly, adding to the overall satisfaction of the meal. The service was another positive aspect, as the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the service was a bit slow at times, which slightly detracted from the experience. Despite the occasio…

A nice playable course, with many very open holes. A good course for even average golfers. Great staff in the Pro Shop and at the food counter

My first stay here today. The atmosphere of the hotel is very peaceful & quiet. I ordered food from the restaurant, and it was pretty good. My only complaints which are very minor are our room door, it gets stuck & basically slams when you close it. Plus the bath tub wasn’t as clean as it could be. Really no other issues. Reservation was correct, and the accommodations are great. Will come back again.

We enjoyed our evening. The feedback I would give is maybe coordinating an earlier time to serve the dinner so guests could enjoy their meal during the show. It was a huge gap to wait for our meal. Food was very good and I am happy to see the success with your turnout of people. Keep up the good work!

Did not stay here, only went for food at the Six West Restaurant for the ROCK 107 BurgerMania. Worst service! We were seated & put our order in. 45 minutes later did not have any food or anyone even come over to check on us. We finally stopped someone & asked for our fries so we had some food. Fries came out & we're only warm. After watching just about every other table get their good & the place significantly clear out, another employee finally stopped to apologize. At this point, we had to get it to go because of time. We were offered free dessert but that barely made up for leaving the plac…

Week 7 of Burger Mania, and this place was a cluster........ We have gone all 7 weeks of Burger Mania so far. None of the other locations have been so slow or disorganized. Waited 1.5 hours for food. It was not that busy either. Lots of empty tables. Other tables were also waiting 1+ hours for their food. We noticed when other tables were served they received appetizers and their main course all at once. When we saw this happening. We asked to get our fries early. We got them a few minutes later. They were warm. Not hot, nor fresh. Wait staff was ok. Did not really check on us. We had to…

The rooms can use an update, but they are very big and spacious. The view of the golf course is beautiful right in the mountains. The service has been wonderful. We had a problem with our toilet and plumbing came within 10 minutes of the phone call a decent breakfast cereal, bagels, juice, grits definitely a good stay for the bargain.

Shadowbrook is no longer a hotel but has transformed into a plus 55 community with golf course, restaurant, pool and pickleball-tennis courts. Played the golf course, it is fun and challenging. The golf course is in fair condition. Greens are in decent condition but sand bunkers are in need of serious reconditioning.
