In summary

Shell Landing Golf Club is widely praised for its picturesque and challenging layout, well-maintained greens and fairways, and friendly staff, making it a favored destination for both locals and visitors. The course's natural beauty, set among Ponderosa Pines and wetlands, enhances the golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with outdated rental equipment, limited beverage cart service, and occasional slow pace of play, which may detract from the overall experience for some golfers.

I played Shell Landing during a long golf vacation across the South back when I lived in NJ. What a great course to play, very picturesque with many challenging holes. I hope to return there one day to enjoy the course again.

Course was in fantastic shape. Greens ran and tee boxes immaculate. Sadly it was the service that was quite lacking. For a 3:06pm tee time me and my two buddies paid ~$400 to rent clubs and play 18 with cart. The rentals were Cobras seemingly from the early 2000s, maybe the 90s. A putter easily from the 80s. ($30 rental) Came with no balls and no tees. We played the entire front 9 without seeing the cart girl. (Was told the quit at 5pm) Upon finishing our round (7pm) the entire clubhouse was locked up and the only person left was the cart barn guy. I’ve played local municipal course with…

We vacation in Ocean Springs for a month every year mid Nov. - Mid Dec. And we love to play golf - we have tested out several courses in the area and have settled on Shell Landing. It's a great design that is well maintained course that is fun to play... not too hard but enough challenges to keep things interesting. You'll use all of your clubs! The staff is super friendly, prices are fair - what's not to like. We'll be back often!

This will be long but useful. I have been a member at Shell since Dec 2024. This place is what golf is all about and I can't believe I get to play here. A naturally beautiful environment that is lovingly cared for by people who care about Golf and the land. The staff is amazing, you can tell they enjoy their work environment and that takes leadership. I have had long memberships at 5 courses, Biscester Golf Club UK, Tramark Golf Club, Pass Christian Isles, Windance and The Oaks, but this is the pinnacle! This place is where a peaceful natural golf environment exists. Enjoy the walk! The review…

Great golf layout and in awesome condition. The wind made it very challenging from the Blue's. I can't imagine how it was from the back tees. A definite stop on a AL/MS golf trip.

Wow what an amazing track. Conditions are perfect. Nice to finally play a course with greens that were not freshly punched. The course was relatively empty but I ended up catching a twosome then a single joined on the back nine. Warm up area was nice and spacious. Plenty of space for chipping, putting, and hitting all clubs. It was windy today so it kept the bugs away according to the locals I got paired with. Range balls were cleaned and in decent condition. Recommend putting sings up for distances on the range. Also recommend when checking in to let players know pin positions because all…

Fun course with a challenging layout, fast greens and manicured fairways. The cart GPS keeps you out of a par-5 fairway in dry conditions (and other places at times) which does slow your pace of play occasionally. As a whole, well worth the trip to play. Enjoy.

One of my favorite courses to play in South MS. Loyalty card is a smart purchase if you play often. Greens are in mint condition. Grill offers a great menu.

Had an amazing time golfing with family! Heather and Mary were spectacular taking care of our libations and everyone had great attitudes! One of the most pleasant golf outings I’ve had. Thank you!

Bad experience. Practice area was bare dirt. The settings on the GPS won’t let you get closer than 60 yards to the greens. 5 hour round of golf and didn’t see a ranger once who might have moved the pace along a bit. Greens were hard as a rock. Supposed to be a premium course in Biloxi area and they charge like it. But it’s not.

This course is challenging and picturesque. With some wind today and crazy challenging greens, this course kicked my butt. Such a great natural layout through Ponderosa Pines, wetlands and more
