This lodge was the perfect setting for a surprise birthday weekend getaway, and honestly… it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the landscaping and decor were stunning — beautifully maintained, cozy, and aesthetic in every corner. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely happy to help, which made the entire stay feel special and stress-free. The food was top tier, especially breakfast — the omelet station deserves its own shout-out. The omelet chef knew exactly what he was doing and made the best omelet I’ve had in a long time.…

I found out about the Breakfast with the Disney Princesses a little late and by the time I saw it, the event had sold out. Thankfully I was able to get on the waitlist. Diana Hartmann was efficient and professional in helping me get this arranged. A week went by where every day I would hear about how we were going to "The Castle" to see the princesses. My daughter is 3, so this event meant the world to her. The performance was very nice and by the time Elsa was singing, all the kids were joining in. The staff was kind and friendly and able to heard 100 or so kids as efficiently as possible. I…

Did a quick Christmas getaway trip here with my husband. The property was gorgeous and was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Food wasn’t bad, the library bar was one of my favorite parts. Coffee at the Corner Roast was amazing. The bed was so comfy in our room and everything was absolutely pristine when we first checked in. We’ll definitely be back in warmer weather to explore the grounds more.

I only spent the night here, but my room was cozy, clean, well kept, and well decorated. (It's an old hotel, and the rooms reflected that decoration-wise.) I wish I could rate some of the activities they have, but I can say that everything on their event board looked fun. For all intents and purposes, I'd give this place a 5/5. My ONLY gripe is that they don't have room service, even though they have a few places to eat downstairs.

I recently had the pleasure of Visiting Skytop. This is an historic property that has been renovated. It is in a beautiful location and I would highly recommend this resort. The food is fabulous and consistent and the service is OUTSTANDING and SINCERE. Every person I interacted with seemed sincerely interested in how I was doing and often asked if I was enjoying the resort. I had to unexpectedly leave sooner than I had planned and the staff could not have been nicer. Even the hostess for breakfast in the Windsor Room suggested that I drive carefully. The front desk employees and the Manager t…

We just returned from another wonderful winter weekend at Skytop Lodge, and somehow it continues to exceed expectations every single time. Our family has been visiting Skytop for many years, and during this trip I realized I have personally been there close to 20 times since meeting my husband in 2007. That kind of history says everything. This is not just a destination for us. It is part of our family story. This particular weekend was especially meaningful as we were celebrating a big birthday. We brought two couples of close friends with us. One had visited before, the other had never exp…

Lodge looked spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly & provided top notch service. The restaurants (Lakeview & Windsor) were nice, service was great, food was OK, not great as I would have expected. Activities were pretty well run, staff leaders were very knowledgeable & did a great job. Room (double at the Inn) was nice, but found a good many long black hairs in the bathtub/shower & underside of soap/shampoo shelf looked ugly. Staff did offer a room change (we declined, late at night, already unpacked) & did clean the room the next morning. Negatively impacted the whole experience.

The skytop lodge was a relaxing spot to celebrate my 5 year anniversary and engagement with my fiancé. The staff were all extremely warm and welcoming, and eager to help in any situation. The property was gorgeous with a few activities to keep you entertained during the colder months. The historic tour of the property was the activity we most looked forward to, however, the tour guide never showed up. We were very disappointed, as this seemed pretty unprofessional at this price point. Another disappointment was the amount of expensive add-ons (paid activities, expensive restaurants and bars, a…

Beautiful place very friendly staff. Howeve, cottages are not what you'd expect. They are basically hotel rooms divided into 4 separate rooms in a cottage. You can hear the other guests aa they come and go, hot water takes forever to warm up. Our tv keep freezing, couldn't change channels or turn it off. You had to unplug the TV and wait 15 minutes to try and get it to work. Tried making dinner reservations 5 days prior to arriving, every restaurant in the lodge was booked. I suggest looking for dining options in the area before you arrive. Lastly, it would've been a huge plus if we were infor…

I had the pleasure of visiting this resort for a Fall Festival. The Building is gorgeous. The half circle veranda is charming. And the view!!!!! I love old buildings so of course I love the grand reception hall. What a great place to relax with a cocktail. I really enjoyed the festival. The resorts offer a lot to their guests, however most activities come with a small charge, but I'd check their website. I know they have ziplining, golfing, canoeing, swimming, hiking trails and much more. I would certainly consider vacationing there someday.

Beautiful Hotel and property. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice...comfortable king sized bed, spacious bathroom, mini fridge and Flavia coffee maker. Our housekeeper, Bliss, was so Friendly and made up our room expertly! Indoor pool was a bit cold for our liking, but the hot tub was WONDERFUL. Since it was snowy and bitterly cold, we didn't partake in any of the outdoor activities. We did however go to a few of the restaurants on the premises. The Tap Room twice for dinner, The Lakeside Inn for drinks and appetizers, The Windsor on Sunday morning for the Breakfast bu…
