The resort is noted for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained trails, and excellent value, with many visitors appreciating the old-school charm and short lift lines. I’ll come back to talk about the skiing. Mountain biking this has been a real treat. This place offers great views of expansive mountains and north face forestry. The downhill trails are super fun and are easy for beginners and difficult for advanced mountain bikers. You don’t have to deal with crowds at all. I definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. Great resort, great mountain biking, friendly staff and generous people, both visitors and locals.

I love this place! It's small enough for the big crowds to ignore, and short lift lines means more time skiing. The are no frills on the lifts. Old style two seater chairs wisk you up the mountain. There's plenty of runs for every skill level. There's also private skiing by snow cat if you want to do that. Cat skiing might be a better option with the low amount of snow many ski areas in the West have this season. Stop in the lodge for a delicious meal and a cold drink to round off your ski Day.

Soldier Mountain is a hidden gem nestled in some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The lodge was nice and had a great view of the mountain. The food was good and had huge portions. The bar had a great selection. The terrain is really fun but fair warning, the greens are not easy greens. Tons of groomed blacks and blues with lots of options for off piste as well. I was still getting first tracks on fresh corduroy at closing time. No huge crowds and just an overall great atmosphere. The sign next to the menu said “the soup of the…

Came to Soldier Mountain to escape the Presdients Day Weekend crowds at other ski areas. It was a great value for our Indy Passes! The snow wasn't great off groomed, but the groomers were INCREDIBLE! It's a great old school vibe ski area. They had a big event going for special Olympics, but other then that there was nobody there. Also appears it would have some great sidecountry/backcountry potential from the top of the lifts! It's super unique because it feels like you're skiing on the side of the desert, but you're in a spot that traps snow really well. Great ski area, hidden gem!

A true hidden gem. It's such a low key resort, a good storm will offer fresh pow for at least a week. Tell your friends, just don't bring them on a pow day, lol!

This resort is awesome! We came from Utah for a couple days and had an absolute blast! Staff and ski patrol were so friendly. Had my kids do a lesson to tune up for the year and the instructors were so helpful, my son said it was the best instructor he has been to! The resort was nice and well maintained. I wish this was closer to us so we could go every weekend! Best part is I didnt feel like I was being bent over and taken advantage of on the price like most the resorts in utah that are close to our house! We went early season so wasn't a ton of snow yet but they had the machines running and…

For our first visit, it was nice. We paid for a 2-hour beginners class. Wish the instructor took more time with the basics. The food was wonderful!! Great trip!!

Very cute, quaint, homey resort. When you enter the little lodge, you are greeted by Alice, the dog, who requires a scratch behind the ears before you get your lift pass. You pass comes with 1 free drink ticket and a smile. The lodge has good food and great views of the hill. The lifts are slow and the runs are short, but you expect that going in. When we went on a Thurs, the runs were empty and wide open. Had a good time. Would recommend.

This is such a great mountain! We used the My Mountain rental and it was the coolest thing we've ever done! The staff is amazing and super nice to work with. I'd recommend Soldier to anyone looking for great hill and less lines!
