Great place for golf. The staff are very friendly, the fairways are wide, and the prices are outstanding. I can't tell you about the greens because they had just aerated the day before we played, but everything else was in good shape. We would happily return if we are in the area.

Spider Lake Golf is a fun, well-groomed 9-hole course with different looks. The clubhouse is freshly remodeled, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The owners and employees provided excellent service And remember, "A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work!"

I've always thought this course was a little Northwoods gem. I give it a 4 because all the rough was solid mature dandelions, making it really hard to find a ball, and the greens really need to be rolled. Otherwise, I love this course.

My family had a great time on this 9 hole course! The staff were very friendly and appreciative. Nice clubhouse to enjoy a drink afterwards. We will be back and I do recommend!

The fairways needed mowing badly. The greens were a weird yellow/green color, spongy to walk on but chipping to the green produced a bouncing ball. This is the worst shape this course has ever been in. I hope they can get it back to the nice shape it used to be in. I really loved to play this course.

Very disgruntled old man sounded like the radio guy. Definitely doesn’t have good customer service. At first I thought maybe he was having an off day, but I’ve seen complaints before, so I think that’s just how he is. Hopefully the new owners get some new faces in here to make it more enjoyable. Will not be using this course for a good while until they get friendlier, staff who will actually make you feel welcome.

When I first called to book a tee time at the Spider Lake golf course, the guy who answered the phone was obviously not in a good mood and just projected it onto everyone he talked to. When I did arrive on the course I had gained a 5th person which I thought would be fine since we all play quickly. But the guy at the counter immediately told me that he, not the course, would not allow us to all play together and that we would have to do 4 and 1. Not even 3 and 2, although that makes the most sense. Then when I was ordering drinks, he rolled his eyes at me like I was the devil for drinking whi…

Great course in the northwoods. Might see deer, bear, or eagles while hitting the ball. Nice bar for the post game! Rob and his crew are super friendly!
