In summary

St. Croix Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, scenic rolling hills, and challenging layout, making it a fun destination for golfers. The staff is often described as friendly, and many find the course well-maintained, though some mention issues with the greens' condition and older golf carts. While the course offers an enjoyable experience, a few visitors feel it is slightly overpriced given the current state of some facilities.

Nice course, nice people. The greens were in immaculate condition. You can't beat the price either.

Inexpensive 9 hole golf course. Only $15 for 9 holes on the weekends. Course was green and looked nice. No major brown spots, but s few crabgrass spots. Most of the greens were in good shape and they were very soft and slower than most other courses. Very friendly staff.

No sandtraps is what saves this course... That being said, the putting greens are on deaths door, the golf carts are ancient, and the rates are higher than other courses in the area. The course is a fun challenge but not worth it unless you find other ways to have fun while playing here.

Cool little place. Great prices and quite a challenging lay with the elevations. Would definitely recommend it. Only 9 holes which I didn’t realize going in. But it was fun enough on the second play around.

Although the greens were not in top condition, this course is a fun, challenging and a bit tricky. We will definitely be returning! And Zo, the bartender was just delightful. Thanks Zo!

Greens are severely damaged, course has great potential. I can see why it is for sale, although I'm surprised a major hotel or private equity group hasn't bought it.

Grossly overpriced considering the terrible course conditions. Very disappointing.

Great little course. Forgiving long shots, good practice for the short game with the smaller greens. Course was in great shape considering the price point.
