In summary

New Richmond Golf Club is highly praised for its excellent course conditions, beautiful tree-lined fairways, and well-maintained greens. The staff is frequently noted for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. The course offers a challenging layout that appeals to many golfers, though some mention that the fast greens and difficulty may not be ideal for high handicappers. Amenities such as the driving range and practice area receive positive feedback, contributing to the club's reputation as a hidden gem near the Twin Cities.

A true hidden gem! This is a half hour drive from the twin cities but it's worth it! The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly. The tees, fairways, and greens were in terrific shape. The course winds through tall pines along the river and it gives it the feel that you're playing in Northern Minnesota. Pace of play was very good for a Friday afternoon. 10/10 would recommend!

Great course! This time of the year, the trees are blooming and add a ton of color. The driving range and practice area are top notch.

We had won a gift certificate at a local fundraiser for 18 holes to this course. Beautiful, unique and challenging course. The play times are arranged perfectly, we never felt rushed or delayed while playing. We had the absolute best time, and cannot wait to come back again.

Very nice course! First time playing it. We'll manicured, greens rolled good. About a 9-9.5. Tees were healthy. Lady at bev shack was super nice, pace was perfect.

Really nice, well maintained. The greens are extremely fast and difficult. Not a great course for high handicappers.

I have played both the nine hole links and the 18-hole old course and I have to tell you that that organization there has got their crap together. The links course is just nice and quick and easy. While the old course is so beautiful. It's peaceful yet just challenging enough that you'll say to yourself, "A bad day at the golf course is better than a good day in court fighting your ex-wife over alimony and who gets the dog!"

Have played the links in the past and it was a great little track. Today I played 9 holes on the old course. Course was in great shape for the amount of traffic it gets. Some fun holes that you have to think about. Lots of back to front slopes on the greens. One day I will have to come back and play the other 9. The short interaction with the staff was extremely pleasant!

Course is always in great condition and fun to play. Local enough to the metro to qualify as one of the nicest and favorite public courses to play in the metro area

Well kept golf course that presents it’s challenges. Pace of play was great and course was not overly crowded on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. Greens were in great shape and played quick. Clubhouse staff was helpful and they had a snack shack at the turn.

The grass in low ares of the rough was long. You couldn't see your ball unless you were standing directly over the ball.

One of our favorite courses in the Western WI / Twin Cities area. Course is a great midwest classic style course with tree lined fairways and excellent course conditions. I also highly recommend you get there early and try out there world class practice area. One of the best in the area by far! We stop here each summer as part of our Western WI Golf tour and have played both the Links 9 Hole and the 18 Hole old course. Both are excellent.
