What People Say

In summary

Hammond Golf Club is a well-regarded, affordable 9-hole course known for its scenic layout with mature trees and challenging greens. Many appreciate the friendly staff and the course's good condition, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. However, some golfers have experienced slow pace of play and occasional congestion on the course, which can detract from the overall experience.

Great place to enjoy a quick 9 holes of golf or go around 2x for 18. A fun fair challenge at an UNBEATABLE price. We choose this course to offer private golf lessons during the outdoor season. We also run a very popular junior golf camp here in the summer months.

Pretty good city grade course. This was in a small town so clubhouse being a bar with no pro shop area wasn't surprising. Seems this course can get pretty busy quick as our tee time we waited for groups to start off which seemed a few behind. Greens were in pretty good shape, tee boxes were ok, and fairways and rough were cut well. Course was a lot of back and forth in layout so wasn't too much special there. The range was in between holes 1 and 3 in layout so ball location off that tee shot could struggle a bit. Carts were older and a little tore up. Rates were good for this course with still…

Fun 9-hole course. Fairways were tight tree lined and tough playing in the fall with all the leaves. I was told the season pass/membership cost, $200 first year and bumps up to $300 each year after. If it was closer to home, I would be a member.

I haven't played here for a few years, so thought I'd stop by. I played on 5/11/21, Tuesday in early afternoon. The course looked great. The greens are in good shape. A few tee boxes were a little nasty (heavily shaded), but otherwise was pretty good. I'm not a fast player by any means, but was by myself. I don't mind waiting a bit. But starting on hole 5 I was the third cart sitting idle by the tee box. Not sure if the hold up was slow play or a large group but I did see a 6-some on the course. After repeating this for holes 6 and 7 I left. Frustrating round. Whoever said a bad day of golf be…

Always used to come here as a kid. I’m talking like ages 6-17. I am 21 now, and just came back for the first time since 2018. This place not only holds the nostalgia factor for me, but it is still a great 9 hole course just like I remember it! Will definitely be back a lot this summer.

Hammond Wisconsin's golf course on the north side of town is still the same and the are out golfing right up to the snow flies. Okie dokie white ball people started batting the ball around earlier in the week and 🤣😭🤣 Everything is Okie dokie with the little white ball people 🤪 I live next door and do not golf ⛳, still the same only this year they like using their starters gun way to much 🥴 Things have not changed with the Ball people. People with the little white balls have tamed down the noise compared to the previous years or it could have had something to do with COVID who knows they ar…

If this course says they are wide open for golf, don’t believe them. We couldn’t even play 3 holes without someone behind us or waiting for people in front of us. When we complained, the lady in the clubhouse said she just sends people out and it’s not her fault. Will not be back.

Nice course, needs bunker work, or get rid of them? All in all, good small town recreation and friendly staff. Undoubtedly will go again when visiting.
