Course was in excellent shape and the greens were very slick. Love the walking bridge on 5 and the runoff area on 13. Always a fun course to play. Staff is friendly and helpful

One of my favorite public courses. They let us make a reservation for our 12-person group a couple weeks out, and they were very accommodating the staff was very pleasant towards us, the course was in great shape. Hole Number 11, Par 3 over water is by far my favorite par 3 hole in all the world. Thankss John & Staff!

The course is pretty challenging. Beautiful natural areas and lots of wildlife make this a very peaceful course to play. The only con is the awful smelling exhaust from the gas carts.

Beautiful course and an incredible value. New Yamaha carts and very good fairways and greens. It’s a hard course but an amazing value

Great course and well maintained. Each cart came with its own GPS and it really helps on the distance. Also, I’m in a good mood because I shot a 46 in front nine

Beautiful course. May 2nd Friday 8am tee time. Weather a decent 52 to start off but complimentary coffee right out the gate. Club house was clean and courteous. Bartender and bar area was nice. Course was in tip top shape for the beginning of the season. Couldn't have asked for a better day

This course is pretty and in really good condition. I had a really good time playing 18 here on a Friday. Greens are tough and fast the day we played, but the course layout is interesting, plenty of challenges, and very fun. I recommend highly

Played August 16, course was in great shape and the greens were 10/10! Great value and, best of all, the pre-round Bloody Mary was perfect! Only downside is no range, but Countryside is a half mile away. Highly recommended!

Great course, we really enjoyed our round. Played fast for a Sunday afternoon, right around 4.5 hours. Which seems pretty good for course in the area.

Confused by some of the negative reviews. Great old school track that is very well kept. Some tight fairways that make you think about club selection. Greens were fast with some undulation but had no problem holding greens. 18th hole is a beautiful hole to finish the round. Staff is really friendly.

Played this morning, course is in great shape for a park district track. Greens are on the faster side, missing on the high side leaves a tricky up and down. Seemed to have tee's for golfers of all abilities. Every hole had some character. Thoroughly enjoyed my round, will definitely return and make this part of my regular rota. Course is also very walkable. Carts seemed nice and had GPS for those wanting to ride...

Not designed for the casual weekend golfer. If you go above the hole on any green , it's a defensive downhill putt every time
