In summary

Studebaker Municipal Golf Club is frequently praised for its affordability, well-maintained course, and welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for beginners and families. The course layout, featuring shorter holes, is ideal for those looking to improve their skills without the pressure of a busy environment. Nice course, pretty busy on weekends.

I’m new to golf and a FOG (freakin old guy). I like to come here several times per week to improve my skills so I won’t be so embarrassed when I play with my friends. This course is perfect for me as there is no rushing, everyone is friendly and the course is in good shape.

Traveling from PA. Stopped at this lovely little course to play 9 holes. Staff wonderful. Price reasonable. Course well maintained and lots of fun.

Course has gotten so much worse in the last 2 years. Groundskeeper spends most of his day driving around to different holes during the busiest time of the day, interrupting players mid round. Not sure what grounds he is actually keeping, as the boxes are ripped up, the greens are quite hairy and roll about how you would expect a punched green to roll. It's a par 3 course and it can take 2 to 2.5 hours due to the lack of marshaling. They take tee times but will not honor them, and players tee off so close together that there's typically a backup of 3-4 teams by hole two. Don't waste your time,…

Excellent course for an old hack golfer to hit some balls with his just learning to swing son. The holes are challenging without too many hazards to ruin your round. Fun place to learn the game. The price gives your wallet the same feeling of joy as well.

Not a bad course for the price. Found this course on a road trip and glad I did. Decently maintained, decent greens, and longer par 3s if that makes sense. I hit driver on most of the holes here.

The course is short. With that said its great for children to learn on. The course is maintained very well. The only complaint is you may be dodging balls, as the holes are very close together. Easy to walk being as its such a short course. They have free junior clubs for the kids to use.

Just called and got heavily disrespected by the man working for no apparent reason when asking if the course was good with the rain today. Answering the phone saying “what do you want now” when I have never called the place before. Then hangs up on me mid sentence. Ridiculous.

Well…the course was fine. I was, however, thrown off my the attitude of the man in the office. When we were checking in, the attendant saying “we don’t have reservations, we have TEE TIMES. This isn’t a restaurant,” seemed a bit unnecessary. He then carried on with this attitude the whole interaction. When his helpful coworker spoke to my friends and I, the rude attendant said “I didn’t ask anything from the peanut gallery.” I work in customer service and this was just hard to witness. Again, course was nice and good for a shorter golf outing. But hope you don’t deal with this guy.

This course is affordable, forgiving, and not intimidating.... I usually play this course last minute if my day opens up, I've never seen a long wait to tee off.. It's a good 9 hole course for those of us that don't get out too often..

Kids day was a blast. Staff did a great job greeting golfers and explaining the flow of the event. Everything was free including balloon hats, ice cream and sunglasses. Carts are available but were not offered on kids day due to the number of young golfers on the course.
