South Bend Country Club

We had our wedding reception here in October of 2020 and we were completely blown away by the staff and their commitment to making our day as stress free and as memorable as possible. Throughout the entire planning process, Leigh was always ready to answer whatever questions we could think of, even with all the Covid guidelines continually changing! Additionally, Ashley made sure that, even with a tournament going on, we had plenty of opportunities for pictures on their breathtaking course. Very nice, challenging golf course and nice venue, but HORRIBLE service! We were at a golf outing there which we attend annually along with approximately 70 other retirement clients. In the past they had employees that picked up our clubs in the parking lot and took them to the designated golf cart. Not this year! The host had to have his son and friend do it. The cold meat buffet at lunch was good (the cookies were delicious!!),but the pizza they served after the round was AWFUL. Soggy and cold. It was the most beautiful baby shower I have attended. The food was delicious and the staff were remarkable. Beautiful settings in the room accommodating a remarkable atmosphere !

We had a 5 course Italian dinner made by chef Scott, hosted by Golden Years Financial Planning. The country club was decorated beautifully for the Christmas Holiday. The wait staff was cordial and efficient. It’s a beautiful event area!

Nice course, well maintained. Played in an outing, first time there. Zero hole number markings on the course, nor a course diagram on the scorecard. A bit frustrating for a few holes, course layout not user friendly. The food served was nothing short of outstanding.

I attended a wedding reception here on April 23. 2022. There were about 200 guests. At the time, I was 9 months pregnant (4 days away from my due date). As a guest, I did not have the best experience at this club. Overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone who cares about the comfort and overall experience of their guests for a larger reception. Reasonable dues, great maintenance staff, fun course that has good replay value. Practice facilities are nice and the staff are all amazing

Do not even think about booking this place for an event. They are your worst nightmare. I can tell your our horror story from a graduation event held there, but trust me - they were awful. Should have walked out without paying.

If you get the chance to play, don't miss it. Small fast sloped greens, a great challenge. Don't let the yardage fool you its all the golf course you want.
