In summary

Summerfield Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained, scenic 9-hole executive course, which offers a variety of challenges with narrow fairways and water hazards. The staff is generally described as friendly, and the course is considered a good value, particularly for those seeking a quick round. However, some visitors have experienced issues with management policies, particularly relating to junior golfers and event hosting, and there are occasional concerns about course amenities and communication regarding public access.

Beautiful course. Some great holes and scenic greens. Greens were running fast but true. No par fives, no longer holes, but some narrow fairways and water and sand obstacles. Nice challenging 9 hole course

We love the golf course. Especially the benches. The squirrels are our enemy. Ruby loves them and wants to play.

This is a well maintained executive course nestled in an established development. It has a few water hazards and enough variety to keep it interesting.

Beautiful course. Only have 9 rental carts, so book those ahead. Inexpensive and not very busy.

Short executive course. Course is in great shape. Greens are fast and consistent. Great quick 9 holes.

Golfing a scramble, followed by delicious salmon lunch, salad, fruit and berry cobbler a la mode. Theme was "Roaring 20s"!

Nice course, friendly staff in the Pro Shop and out marshalling, they have relaxed their collared-shirts only dress code so I plan to play here more often

Played 9 today, were joined by two sweet retired ladies. On hole 3 my friend and I teed off and we walked to the ladies tee to wait until they did the same. The mower tractor then got within 10 feet of our group and did a 360 degree turn spraying us with dust, twigs, dirt and rocks. Not cool. The operator was being a real jerk. Played here a dozen times this season. Normally would give 4 stars but only two today. This was just before noon 8/27/24

Horrible management decisions. Shame on the sitting board President. This is the first negative review I have ever felt the need to post online. Booked a mid day tee time for 2 adults (My wife and I) and 2 juniors (My son and daughter). My son is 8 and my daughter is 6. Both are very good youth golfers and active in the PGA junior league and first tee year-round. When we arrived I went to the pro shop to pay and they asked the age of the junior golfers (They didn’t ask or communicate anything over the phone when I called a few days prior). I told them, and their response was that my daughter…

I love this course especially when I don't lose any balls or hit any houses or ducks. The staff at the club house are great and friendly. It's a fun course to play.

The website says “public” but in person it was described to me as “semi-private” with tee times before 11am reserved for residents of the community. I understand not wanting to post tee times or a schedule online but at least let the public know when they’re allowed. It looks nice but I’ll be going somewhere else to play.

A quaint 9-hole Golf Course located in the outskirts of Portland. This course seems to be dedicated solely for the residents that live around the location. However the course is well-maintained and a very fun nine holes that I played twice I would definitely go back and play again
