In summary

Sundre Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, with challenging yet enjoyable layouts that feature tight fairways and fast greens. The staff, particularly in the pro shop and on the grounds, are often commended for their service, and the restaurant receives positive remarks for its food quality. However, some visitors feel the course is overpriced given its distance and lack of certain amenities like on-course beverage service, and there are occasional concerns about safety due to the proximity of holes.

Quiet, beautiful, unlimited balls at the range. Loved it.

Beautiful course grounds crew do an amazing job! Greens where awesome. Course looks relatively tame but actually quite challenging. We'll worth the drive you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed playing this course. The entrance area and Clubhouse are gorgeous and well kept. The course itself was also well kept and in great shape. Couple of the ponds could use some circulation of the water. Fairways are pretty tight so plan for that...if you can always, basically good luck! Tree areas are open tho and can usually punch out. No beverage cart on course and it was 25+ when we were there, just don't get it. I'd give them a 5 if they had drinks out there but also a 4 as the pricing is too much for how far it is.

I was very much looking forward to playing here. EVERYONE has told me what a hidden gem this course is, how great it is, etc. etc. Unfortunately, it was a major let down. Firstly, it is a dangerous course. Our group must have ducked 10+ times with fore calls from other holes. We had 2 very near misses with balls coming into our group. Secondly, as others had mentioned it was rather pricy for lack of amenities (free range balls was nice (no drivers on range)). Overall service staff were just okay, with starter being the best and halfway shack being the worst. Everyone we talked to just seem…

Greens were in great shape quite fast. Fairways good pace of play was not bad, played in 4 hrs.

This course is on another level for cleanliness and an all around private course feel that is public. The course played amazing. Some tight Fairways but forgiving with open trees if you have a mis hit. The restaurant was really great. Plan for an after round meal there.

The track is good. And in good shape. But the club house food is not edible and prepared without care. The service staff act as it’s a chore to do their job. After a round I would recommend eating somewhere else.

Food here was really good. Service was a little slow for being the only table.

Pretty nice course overall. For the most part in good shape - a couple greens had dead patches but other than that pretty well kept. Layout is pretty good. Holes are tree lined and fairly straightforward, helpful markers on tee box giving info on distance to water hazards. That said it's a bit overpriced, not worth $100+ in my opinion.

We played this course as a part of a play and stay. The course was in fantastic condition, the greens were fast and the fairways were firm with lots of run out on the drives - good or bad. The service at the restaurant was amazing, and the food was great. No cart on the course for the afternoon round, but there was for the morning round. We had finished our round early on Friday evening and inquired about playing some more as the course was not busy and there was still plenty of daylight. The messaging was a little unclear which caused some frustration at check-in the next morning. Overall,…

Nice farm style course. Friendly staff. Overpriced by 50$ at least. I’m not sure how they justify 100$ to walk on a weekend.

A beautiful course but a little pricey. No ball washers and no cart girl. Felt a bit rushed with the group behind us.
