In summary

Meadowlands Golf Club at Sylvan Lake is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and a challenging yet enjoyable course layout with well-maintained greens. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about dry conditions affecting fairways, perceived strictness of the course marshal, and occasional issues with booking and course management. Despite these criticisms, many find the course to be a pleasant place for a round of golf.

Decent course but management squeaks when they walk. Bought a membership to find out they demand carts in before sunset (~20mins before sunset) after buying in. This rule doesn’t make a whole bunch of sense since they have 90% of carts in and ready for morning. Could the last 10% of carts be cleaned by the morning staff??? Never been to a golf course before where this had been an issue.

Played this course yesterday. Found it extremely overpriced. (Played 18 at Leduc, and Northern Bear in the past week for less then 9 holes with a cart here) Course was in decent shape, first cut of rough is super thick. Luckily, didn't come across the Marshall 75% of reviews are speaking about. Will play other courses in the area next time.

Not the best but easy access public golf course. Straight flat not too intimidating but small raised up green make approach shot tough. Overall it's okay not a great golf course.

Fantastic 18 hole course!! The greens were in great shape, as well as the tee boxes. Not sure if they hadn’t received much rain or just don’t have irrigation for the fairways, but they were a little burnt out but still were very nice to play off of. The staff inside the clubhouse and on the course were very friendly. Highly recommend this course if you’ve never played it before!

We've had our RV parked at a seasonal plot at Meadowlands for 5 years now and we absolutely love it there!

Right off the main highway this golf course is starting to mature and offers some challenging holes. There is also a driving range offering $7 large buckets.

Played this course today. We booked a tee time on Thursday for Friday. But they booked us for the next Friday which we found out when we arrived. They were able to get us in 1 hour 15 min later. But didn't offer a discount for their error or even a free bucket of balls for the driving range. Marshal driving around the golf course is totally clueless on golf etiquette. Multiple times he drove past us and other groups while we were mid swing.

If you want to break your elbow and shoulders golfing here, this is the place to go. Their grass is completely dried out and rock-hard, tee-boxes are full of holes and their overall course management is non-existent. It will be harder to find a solid patch of green than yellow here! Hot summer days may be a valid excuse when all other golf courses nearby had the same problem.

The hot dry summer is beginning to take it's toll on the course, fairways are dry and the greens are seeing the worse of the dry weather.

We stayed here while moving into our new home in Sylvan Lake. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Right next door to a beautiful golf course. I did find the ladies washroom particularly smelly the one time I used it. Dont know what that was all about. Maybe a sewer issue? A bit expensive for what you get but I get that it's Sylvan Lake
