Lakewood Golf Resort is praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both experienced and novice golfers. The resort features a well-kept restaurant, a spacious driving range, and a vibrant community atmosphere. However, some visitors express concerns over the slow pace of play due to overbooking and occasional issues with staff professionalism.

The challenge aspect and shape of the golf course itself is alright. The fairways on the new back nine are somewhat of a goat trail and are rock hard. Room for improvement for sure! As for the experience as a tenant in the Eden Rv Park, the neighbourhood was absolutely great, we had the best neighbours and made a lot of awesome friends throughout the park. Had so much fun! The tenants made this place so much better! The owners on the other hand (specifically the dad and son duo) are nothing short of arrogant, ignorant, have zero personality and show no respect. They seem to harp on those tryin…

This place is an absolute gem. The golf course is In great condition, featuring some of the best kept, smoothest greens around. After a round, the restaurant is a must-visit, the food is genuinely delicious, yet the prices remain incredibly reasonable for the standard of service and meal you get. Whether you're just here to play, eat, or both, it's worth every star. Highly recommended!

Very nice little local golf course. Second year playing the new holes on the east side. They are a little hard and fast but should get better with time. The old holes are beautiful, fully treed and well maintained. Excellent price point for 18 holes. 3 1/2 hours fora round which was excellent. Friendly staff. I'd recommend for a nice easy afternoon out.

Had a tee time booked for 1:50 18 holes for three people didn't finish until 7:20….absolutely brutal. When we get to the first hole they inform us that we are playing behind one group behind the last group of the tournament and that the greens keepers were changing the pin location ahead of the group of 4 ahead of us. Which I thought was odd for an afternoon tee time on a Friday. They completely overbooked the course on hole 5 they had 8 carts all with 4 people lined up behind the tee box waiting. Finally get finished the front 9 where the tournament ended thought okay back 9 should open up a…

This is a happy place. Everyone here has always been great, enthusiastic and helpful. The staff are fantastic. The course is really beautiful and the new nine holes are coming along well. It’s a very fair course where I get good and bad bounces in equal quantity. The course is very walkable and well designed. Really nice new driving range and a huge parking lot. Practice greens are large and well maintained. Plenty of power carts, and well stocked pro shop. I’ve tried the other courses in the area but none come close to this one.

Lakewood Golf Resort is a must golf resort to go to when visiting Sylvan Lake or Red deer. We played 18 holes and it was the best golf course that we experienced this year. The resort is kept clean and organized. Thanks to all the staff that works hard to make this resort special. From golf cart, pro shop, restaurant, driving range, washrooms, and the course itself is very well managed by the team. A staff is always going around making sure garbage/recycling bins from each hole is taking care of to avoid flies and wasps infestation. And to the businesses that sponsored some holes with specia…

Good golf course if you can ever get a tee time. I became a member here at the beginning of the season, the fact we can’t get a tee time when we call 10 days in advance at 8 am is absolutely ridiculous. I thought Alberta Springs was bad with the amount of tournaments they would hold but this has turned me away from wanting to get another membership here.

My long-time friends (5) and I played a round of 9 tonight (we booked 2 tee times) and it started off bad because we let them know we may be 2-5 min late because of an accident on the highway, for 1/2 of our tee times and they were condescending and negative. they say “we will see what we can do. No promises.” Then when we get there, they aggressively tell us that “We must have the 2 carts back by 8:30 on the dot.” It was 6:56pm. Once we start, we approach the female starter/marshal she tells us “she can tell.” That we are used to small town golf courses. “Because of ‘all of this’” She was con…

Been golfing here for decades. Nice course and now expanded to 18 holes. Not overly challenging so great for new golfers too. Driving range has moved so a bit of a hike across the road to warm up. Nice restaurant and super friendly staff.

Nice 18 hole course. Some holes are nice and short, some are longer. Nice mix of trees and meadow golf course design. Great little community of permanent campsites
