Balmoral Golf Course

Nice treed course that still has generous fairways to hit driver. Not too many hazards so fair enough to play even with a bit of ground-under-repair. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff and good service

If your looking for a course to ruin your family vacation, this is the one for you! While the ladies in the pro shop were both great, Jim and Bill both showed us awful customer service. We were told on 2 separate occasions that having 4 players and 1 ride along would be fine. The sign outside of the pro shop specifically says 4 PLAYERS (last I checked a rider is not a player) only. Upon arrival and after paying (the rider having to pay as much as the players) we were informed that we were not allowed to do this and were made out to be the liars when a staff member stated "none of our employees…

This is my favourite golf course because it's laid-back, lower in cost, and close to my home. No, it isn't your 5-star pro-course. But, if you're not looking to play in the (L)PGA, this is a good course. The staff have always been friendly, I like their patio, and I love the warm donuts on the kitchen menu.

Super Friendly staff brought my 2 boys course was in good condition. Staff let us play the back 9 as it wasn’t as busy back there. Highly recommend this course!! The Marshall was a beauty too!

Worst course within 50Km. Every year the same thing. Pro shop staff seem to not want to be there, course conditions are terrible every year, fairways are as much dirt as they are grass, dry dry dry similar to golfing on cement, branches all over fairways. Greens are 40% dirt on most holes with markings everywhere. And the course Marshals love to push pace of play, especially on the newer players. Save your Money and time!

Booked for myself and my wife for 9 holes. We are pretty quick and they assured us we wouldn’t be paired up with strangers! Get there and said you’re paired up. I said nope and walked out. It’s ridiculous how some course feel the need to do this because they think they’ll make more $. It’s not any quicker! If anything it’s slower 🤦‍♂️

I had one of the most frustrating rounds I’ve ever experienced at this course. At check-in, they required a credit card imprint for the golf cart and stored it insecurely, inspecting the cart as if we were renting a luxury car. When I asked why, the staff gave the bizarre explanation that it’s because “people on YouTube and TikTok ride on roofs and try to replicate it.” I’ve never heard anything like it, and it felt completely unnecessary. Don’t waste your money…course is like a cow pasture where grass is an option. If you like golfing on cement , this is for you. Worse course in the area!

Golfed 9 holes back in August. Course was in great shape and tee times were well spaced. Nice staff.

Husband booked a round with people who flew in and called twice and staff confirmed someone could join to watch paid a green fee and cart fee and was kicked out by Marshall on first hole and was told his staff would never allow the green fee . He issued a refund but blamed clubhouse staff for providing wrong information multiple times.

The customer service at this place was terrible! After I had finished paying for my teenage son’s and my round and a golf cart with cash they asked me for a credit card to secure the cart. I told them that I didn’t have a credit card on me. The lady who was serving me asked the owner what she should do and he was adamant that we couldn’t rent a cart without a credit card or we could walk the course. I offered to pay a deposit and he said no, it had to be a credit card. And I told him that I couldn’t walk the course because have really bad knees and that I needed a cart, that I physically can’t…

The course was fine and staff in the Clubhouse was very pleasant. However this has happened multiple times to me where the Marshal comes and tells us we need to pick up our pace of play. Just frustrating when we are waiting for the people infront of us every second hole as well. I don't do well with stress so as a result I just picked up my ball and walked the last 4 holes. Thanks Balmoral for the expensive walk!
