In summary

Sunrise Vista Golf Club receives praise for its friendly and helpful staff, affordable pricing, and well-maintained greens, making it a popular choice for military members and visitors alike. The course offers a pleasant setting with a practice area and a nice pro shop, although some visitors note that certain areas of the course could benefit from additional maintenance and that amenities like water stations and restrooms could be improved. While some appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to practice without feeling rushed, others have experienced issues with course layout and occasional disruptions from other players.

Just played the Nellis Air Force Base golf range and it's AMAZING! 🤩 Best greens and views in Vegas! 😍 Worth every shot. 👍 Highly recommend for golf enthusiasts and military supporters! 💪🏼 #NellisAFB #GolfRange #Vegas"

I’ve been playing this course for about 1.5 years now. The price is good and the course is in decent shape, but in the last 6 months I’ve witnessed a major argument that almost came to blows in a tee box and today I felt threatened by another golfer accusing me of jumping holes. It appears to me that the problem on this course isn’t with visitors, but rather regular members that play this course. I play this course because I’m a retired military member, but I play the game to relax and this course is no longer relaxing for me. What a shame.

The pool was free, I'm okay with paying, however, now they wont let you drink in the shade or in the pool and they do 10 minute "safety breaks" every hour. So now I'm paying to get kicked out of the pool every hour and am not allowed to eat under the shade structure. Last 2 years were free and I could drink in the pool and eat in the shade, not to mention the prices for food have gone up. I could deal with the rest if I wasn't charged to enter. Im paying as a customer, not here on duty.

Nice enough course and the price is right. I have seen it in better condition over the years. I remember when it was 36 holes; a different look depending on the rotation. Hey, Uncle Donnie is forking over cash to refurbish Andrews maybe he can slide some cash down Nellis way!

Great lunch, however out there, away from main base. Awesome tuna melt. Fries way over cooked, greasy and old.

This place is horrible. No rhyme or reason on the layout of this course. Some parts needed water and others were flooded. Cart paths are pretty much non existent and I hit a curb because it was overgrown with weeds. Its so bad they need signs telling you where next hole is…almost like a treasure hunt.

A military golf course that you can enjoy without any burden. You can't leave out the kindness of a pro shop employee. Green is also very nice. I strongly recommend it!

Went to a retirement ceremony here and this is a nice golf course on a military base they have a swimming pool and dining area and a cheap restaurant I had a Philly cheesesteak it was perfect for the price. They have a large pergola that reduces the temperature that you can relax and have a smoke in the shade there isn’t a lot of places that have that.

Just played here over the weekend. Visiting from out of town so came here for a quick round during my three-night stay in Vegas. The course was okay, and was challenging enough. Course could be in better shape though, and there were a lot of bare dirt areas surrounding the fairways, adding to the lack of care by the maintenance crews. The massive disappointment is the lack of water stations throughout the course. And when we finished our round before 1700, the clubhouse was already closed! And there were still many other golfers out on the course behind us. This just shows the lack of concer…

I played this golf course one week ago on a Saturday, I thought the course was in great condition. Not too wet because of the hot weather, and just right, the greens were rolling true. The fairways look better than they ever have. The staff is always very nice and polite. The grill is also very nice and so is the customer service because of Nanne She excels on the topic of customer service! The practice range in the pitching area, and putting area for practice is also well maintained! Very nice merchandise to buy in the pro shop. Kudos to the greens keeper that keeps this course in shape.!

Fun course that is not normally in great condition; if you're off the fairway, good luck, because there is no rough, just weeds, dirt, and sand. Layout is forgiving, and greens are normally in pretty good shape. Price is ok for twilight, and you can finish a round quickly here compared to public courses during off-times (some weekdays or when it's really hot). Morning prices are worse than some other courses in town with better course conditions.

Great course with affordable pricing and knowledgeable staff. The course could use some upkeep in areas, and a service / drink cart would be nice
