In summary

Sunset Grove Golf is appreciated for its affordable rates, friendly staff, and well-maintained 9-hole course set in a peaceful country setting. The course is described as beginner-friendly yet offers some challenging elements, such as crowned greens. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and occasional unprofessional behavior from staff, which have affected their overall experience.

I’ve only been golfing for a year. Me and a buddy (also new) totally dig it. Chill vibe, reasonable price. Don’t expect a fancy club house. I think it just has cold drinks and packaged snacks. Great spot.

What a great golf course. Affordable for everyone. Beers $3 waters are $1. Carts are cheap. Great service friendly not snoby or stuck up. You don't have to have a million bucks or drive a Rolls Royce to gold here and have a wonderful time. Check it out. Golf on..

This 9-hole course is a ton of fun. Snowcone greens are challenging so definitely take your time with your putts. Great country scenery.

Cute course, well maintained. The people who work in the club house are friendly. Rates are great. Swing by and play a nice quick 9.

Been going here since the 90’s. It’s tried and true. Fairways are in decent shape. Greens are crowned and fairly challenging considering. Tee boxes are what you’d expect. But this is in my top 5 let’s get out and have a good time course

Par 72 course that is well maintained and family run. The course is flat and fairly easy.

Great little golf course. Staff is really good. -- Update: dropped a star. I like the casual attitude on the course but ran into one of those people who kept hitting into us. He said we deserve it since we were slow. I told him we were waiting on the group in front of us. He didn't care. No marshall around to handle these issues. -- Happened again. This time with a group behind who knew full well there was a slow group in front of us. They kept yelling to hurry up. Great staff but some groups are very rude.

Good course. Maybe a little too good greens cause it had lots of roll. Decent place to golf

This is our home course and we love it. The staff is always friendly and the prices are amazing. Some challenges and two holes over water. Some very ni e long drives will keep you challenged on holes 8 and 9. Best time of the year is early summer to play before the oregon sun bakes out everything. Clubhouse drink prices are great. In all, play this course. It does not have any steep hills, only slightly rolling. I for one love playing here and do so as often as I can!

Good course for weekend hackers or newbies. Greens are deceptively difficult and the course is open and flat. Fairly well maintained given how cheap it is to play. Overall good value and usually not very busy. My go to course for after work rounds since it's close to my house.
