In summary

Forest Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful countryside setting, well-maintained greens, and engaging layout with challenging holes. The staff, particularly in the pro shop, is noted for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors express concerns about recent course changes and pricing, as well as occasional issues with course maintenance and overcrowding.

Nick and Joey, in particular, have been consummate professionals to interact with over the years. They are personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about all things golf. The course layout, fairway conditions, and tee boxes have been consistently fantastic year-round, and the greens have always been in great shape as well. If golfers were a little more diligent about repairing their divots and ball marks, the course would be in even better condition. That said, the maintenance team does an outstanding job keeping the course looking and playing its best. Overall, after many years of golfing…

Stunningly beautiful golf course in Oregon farm country. So quiet and serene! Well maintained greens, fairways, and tee boxes. Fun layout - challenging doglegs on #5 & 6; elevated tee boxes on Par 3s #2 and 17 with picturesque views; the latter a long carry over water. Long hitters beware of hidden lake on #16! Really fun course that will become one of my most frequented within a 1.5 hour drive from home. Great staff - Gabe in the pro shop is a great asset...friendly, courteous and very accommodating! Beautiful remodeled historic clubhouse/restaurant with big, thick burgers!

Fantastic course in a beautiful country side setting. I played a day after rain, so the course was still wet, but I can only imagine how it'd be in the summer! All staff was helpful and respectful. The par 3 11th was my favorite hole, but there were many other memorable holes. Looking forward to playing again!

My pal and I just stopped in the check it out, wanted to be sure it was open to the public, which it is, the counter person was very friendly and informative. We had an obligatory beer at the bar, our bartender was exemelly friendly and made us at home. We look forward to our return this summer 🙂

Great golf course! Although there is very little parking at the course. Bigger parking lot is across the street. No crosswalk for crossing the street.

Beautiful course with lots of trees, challenging holes, elevation changes. This was our first time playing at Forest Hills. It’s a bit of a drive from Portland. A little crowded around the driving range and the first tee. One of our group had never played a golf course before. The pro shop staff was very helpful.

I played this course in the middle of March 2023 and was surprised in what good condition it was in, better than most I played this winter. Some challenging hazards throughout, but a very enjoyable course. I'll be back

Long rounds… over priced. Paid $100 with a cart. 77 without. You’re hitting off cow pasture entire time even if you’re half a yard off the fairway. Fairways aren’t in great condition either (very spotty) Don’t waste money and your whole day at this course. Lots of other courses with better value.

Had an absolutely wonderful time here. My stepfather was visiting from out of state and wanted to golf while in the area. He went to the pro shop and asked all kinds of questions about the course, scheduling tee time, etc. Everyone we spoke with was kind and courteous, and didn't have any snobby undertones (like another unnamed course we visited). The course itself was beautiful, with lots of viewpoints and rolling hills. While I don't golf yet, after tagging along with my stepfather, I will definitely be back for some lessons soon.
