In summary

Sykes Lady Overland Park Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained courses, scenic views, and a recently remodeled clubhouse with a popular restaurant offering good food and service. The staff is generally seen as helpful and friendly, and the club provides a variety of golfing options, including a Par 3 course and multiple 18-hole courses. However, some visitors express frustration with the booking system, noting that tee times can be difficult to secure due to high demand, and there are occasional criticisms regarding the condition of the sand traps and driving range.

Beautiful setting for lunch, overlooking the golf course. Great for an alone-lunch or group. The food was "pretty" and tasted good at the same time. Watch out for golf carts in the parking lot!

Even though they were extra busy with Restaurant Week, the service and food were great. I honestly expected our meal to come out much later but didn't. Great job!

Reviewing the Par 3 course. Awesome. Fun layout with good greens! Tee boxes are pretty beat up, but whatever. The course is in great shape, with one huge exception, the sand traps. With how few of sand traps the par 3 has, you think they’d be in better shape, but they’re obviously an after thought. Weeds less than knee high would be good!

An Overland Park gem! Golf course with a fantastic restaurant inside the clubhouse. Went today for lunch with my D and sat outside. Fabulous deck view of course while we enjoyed our meal. Great social hour too during the week!

Great course(s)! Always well taken care of and well maintained. Greens are always green and in great shape. Not super hard but some challenging holes. Have a nice 9 hole par 3 course you can play in just over an hour along with 3 other 18 hole course options (South, North and West). Club house is beautiful with nice practice greens and driving range but the function of getting around could be better. You have to walk pretty far to get balls for range and the carts/pull carts are far away from parking lot so get there early so you have enough time to get your clubs loaded and still make your te…

I love playing here... The only problem is the quickness of the tee times selling out. I have to decide a week in advance if I am going to play golf here. I wish they saved more walk-up tee times for players.

Great new clubhouse (2020 remodel) and a fun Par 3 course as well as the 27 holes of the South, North, and West courses. The two regulation golf courses that you can play are South/North and North/West. Very busy restaurant in the clubhouse. Really a great place for lunch.

Always good, the staff is great, very helpful and friendly. The golf price, can't be beat and the courses are better than most in town.

It was very nice in the club house 'of course' and the courses are well taken care of. My biggest gripe is the lack of care for the driving range. The Distances for the range poles had no attention whatsoever. The stuck up attitude around the club was a bit off putting as well.

Nicest public golf course in Kansas for starters! The clubhouse is masterful with surreal views that take your mind on its own vacation. Last but not least, great food!

This is a very nice public golf course, with 27 holes, a good driving range, a new clubhouse and restaurant. Reservations are online and simple. The course is nice and roomy. The greens are consistently more bumpy than I expected. The course sees a lot of traffic, which has a negative impact; the staff does a petty good job of keeping the course in good, but not great shape. The staff was consistently helpful, efficient and friendly. We had a good time and intend to return soon. The restaurant here is quite nice with a commanding view of the course, a big open feel, good food and drink opt…

Giving 1 star because the golf Marshall's are rude, mean, snappy & grouchy. I haven't played this course in a while because one of the Marshall's yelled at me for not walking fast enough. I understand they have a tough job & need to maintain the rate of play - but - folks are there to enjoy the game & are PAYING to be there. You can keep things moving on the course without being jerks.
