The course offers a challenging layout with a pleasant atmosphere, complemented by the on-site restaurant, Bookers. People are very nice and it is extremely affordable but unfortunately it is in terrible shape. Tee markers are extremely hard to find, no clear line between fairways and rough. Rough is often very bare with little or no grass and there is no sand in the bunkers, just dirt/mud. Greens were soft, rough and unpredictable in

The greens are the best and the sand traps are starting to look good. Some say the best they have ever looked since the course has been there. But the course as a whole is wonderful

Played yesterday 6/13/25. Course is in really good shape with nice fairways and greens. Some tees and trap need some work but overall really good experience. Lady in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful. Great value. Will definitely be back

Maybe the best bang for your buck course I've ever played. Cheap fees for pretty great greens. Layout isn't my favorite but there are some challenges and characteristics to keep you on your toes. Ill definitely be back. Office is disorganized but whatever.

Course was pretty good for the price but we played right after a rain. Course was very soggy greens were not rolled and bunkers had no sand. Don't trust yardage markers use a good range finder. Cost of course was only 29.00 so guess you get what you pay for

I'm an avid golfer and on average hit a par 2 to 3 Everytime. I usually get one birdie each round, even two. And yes, I've actually hit a hole in one 3 times with a close 4th just the end of last year in my almost 20 years of overindulging in the kings games I've sharpened my skills to be a better than average player. I love teaming up with new people who are pros. I tend to enjoy the extra effort and challenge taking on new club members

We love our local gem in the backwoods of Sylacauga Alabama. It has a reasonable price, it's very challenging, and Sylacauga Country Club has Bookers restaurant to finish off 18 holes with a home cooked meal.
