Talking Rock Golf Course

An excellent course worthy of the praise it gets, rated as one of the best courses in Canada. It is a wooded course, but not too mountainous, nor are the tee shots closed and narrow like many forested courses. The hole layouts are creative and it is very playable, with some expansive fairways at times, and interesting bunker layouts to consider when planning your shot. Nice greensites, greens were smooth but not too fast. Far from highway and traffic. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff was friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend playing here.

Just spent a day golfing 18 holes. First time to visit this course. If you want a great golf experience, this is it. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, it was amazing. They brought carts directly to our truck. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was great. Will definitely be back.

Loved this course despite the fact that it was really tough and the sand traps hurt my feelings 😅 This was one of the best courses in terms of fostering a casual and ultra warm/friendly atmosphere but with the service you'd find at a stuffy private club in the city. Not to mention also that the views were amazing, but I think that would be assumed given where it is located! If you golf and you're in the area for a while you MUST do yourself a favour and golf this course. Can't wait to go back!

The Talking Rock experience was top-shelf from the moment we parked our car. Every staff member we encountered were genuinely friendly, helpful and excited to show off their club. The golf course was challenging, fun and in pristine condition and all 18 were visually pleasing. Talking Rock is highly recommended as a stop on your BC golf adventure!

Your day starts off with a smiling staff member greeting you at your vehicle with your cart for the day. Then you head to the well equipped facility practice to hone your skills. After that head out for an amazing round of golf with excellently maintained fairways and greens. To top it all off the views are incredible. Thank you Talking Rock, my son and I will be back every year when he comes to visit. Cheers 🏌️‍♂️

Two weeks ago was the first time our group had come here to talking rock. Months ago, I made a reservation for a back-to-back same-day teetime. It was the most convenient tee time reservation ever thanks to Dean and Jeff. This course have exceptional staff. from being picked up by carts from our cars, to the proshop (the friendliest people), and dining experience. Our BC trip was made even more amazing by these guys. The practice facility is the greatest in BC, and the course conditions are excellent. We intend to expand the group and make this trip annually. Again, thank you so much.

Such a beautiful course with some of the nicest staff I've ever met at a golf course! The course condition was fantastic, and the holes are perfect for any level golfer. I'd say it's a must-go when in the Kamloops/Shuswap area.

Excellent course to golf! Every hole makes you feel like you're the only ones on the course, as the pines and brush surrounding it create a serene feel. The greens are fast and challenging. When some of the fairways open up, the views are amazing. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this course if you're golfing in the area.

Let’s start with this. Talking Rock is a course that will surpass your expectations. The layout is phenomenal with a few things that bring it down in the ranks in my opinion, but overall it is spectacular. It had been about 7-8 years since I have played here last. Obviously watched closely with the forest fires of three years ago and the devastating impact they had on the area. I was heartbroken to see the hotel lost. It's a tough course but a scenic one, some of the tee shots with blind landing spots could be troublesome. Unfortunately, on the day we went, there's quite a bit of mosquitos out, so it's really testing one's steadiness and patience. Bring your bug spray.

Aerated greens 2 weeks before our tee time and they were still pretty slow and bumpy out there. Beautiful course will have to try to come back and play it again on regular greens
