In summary

Tamarac Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its friendly and helpful staff, well-maintained greens, and overall course condition, making it a popular choice for golfers in the area. Many appreciate the course layout and the improvements made by new ownership, particularly to the bar and pro shop. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, outdated golf carts, and occasional maintenance concerns, such as unclean carts and rough tee boxes. Despite these criticisms, the club remains a recommended destination for its value, dining options, and enjoyable golfing experience.

I'm from down south a bit where the grass grows a little easier but definitely one of the best courses I've played at the cottage. Greens were super fast but I've noticed that a lot in the area. Either way was a great course and a great day . I was a single golfer and I played the course in a little over 3 hours.

I played here the day after post tropical storm Debby so I can't hold the wet conditions against the course. I walked (very walkable course) and just avoided overly wet areas. Course is nicely laid out and you don't get in the way of other holes. Staff was friendly and the starter was nice enough to find a spot for me ahead of my tee time as a single. Round was inside 4 hrs and fairly priced. Restaurant menu was good and my lunch was good. Service was good and quick.

Ok for cottage country, but fairways and greens are not well maintained. Ball bounces too much in fairways and in unexpected directions. Greens are bumpy and shaggy. Pace of play is not great, so expect a lot of waiting. But it's a n OK place to enjoy a round if you happen to be at a close by cottage.

Staff was great. Course is in terrible shape!! Was charged $53.11 for a course thats not even worth 25. ^Update ^ The course is in amazing shape!! Staff is still amazing, obviously but they have decided to add a dress code which is fine with me. Just wasn't aware of it before I got there.

Great time course is a bit beat up and clubhouse could use some updating. Golf cart had better days and wasn’t comfortable. Staff were friendly and it was easy to navigate around the course. We would go back the new owners have done much work and it just takes time. ⛳️🌟Give this course a try!

The course is always nice, food is awesome, staff are super nice. Sometimes they don't answer the phone but just wait 5 mins.

Able to play a round in the midweek not too long ago. We were a foursome with one cart and played 9 holes. Firstly, the holes were interesting. Some were decently laid out, whilst others were confusing with blind shots. Some holes also had ample empty grass land that you would think would be utilized better but simply isn't. After waiting to tee off until the group ahead of us was basically on the green (a gap we thought would be fine) it quickly became backed up right on the 2nd hole. It never truly spaced out the entire round, and at one point there were TWO foursomes ahead of us waiting to…

The food is fabulous and the staff amazing. Even if you're not a golfer, just out for a drive, come for lunch. You won't be disappointed

Have golfed here many times. Have given the course many chances. Staff great but rounds are way too long. No starter. No marshall controlling the pace of the game. For the first time in 3 yrs saw a marshall yesterday. Once in 18 holes. His response to slow pace was the course was full. Well we would hope that for them. Full courses can keep up the pace. At one point 6 groups spread across 2 holes. And not because of a par 3. Wait on every tee box. Drink cart is there on almost every hole. So we can see the priority. If you're looking for a 5+ hr round with no chance of getting into a rhythm th…
