In summary

Tamarack Ridge Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and picturesque setting, making it a favorite for many golfers. The staff is often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about overgrown rough and trees affecting play, inconsistent management of pace, and issues with cart availability and fees.

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. Course is fantastic. Greens were soft and receptive to the ball. I got back spin on a couple of holes. Greens are very undulating and tricky. Take a cart as it is very hilly. Reasonable priced, I paid $72 for 18 holes with a cart on a Friday afternoon. My only beef is that a few holes desperately need grooming. Trees are overgrown, in fact, the 8th hole par 3, there is a tree that blocks 1/3 of the green. The 5th, 16th and 18th holes also need heavy trimming. Course is short but very tight on several holes. See my pics and videos of the course below.

Fun track, well maintained. Ranger did their best to keep the pace up. Couple spots need work, but they're marked-off well and seem to be working on them. There are a few powerlines running through the course but they're very avoidable. Better to think of them as "unusual hazards"

As I am finishing my very first season of golf. I find Tamarack Ridge a great, challenging course for the beginner. I will be back to play this course again.

The course was in excellent condition. The young lady who greeted me was very friendly and helpful as this was my first time playing here. The gentleman behind the counter was also very helpful and informative. A challenging course especially playing from the rough. Video posted Is after I shanked a drive behind a tower and was left with a difficult second shot. Would definitely recommend trying out this course as I will for sure be back for another round.

Had an issue with an 18 holes of Christmas coupon purchased by third party. Manager (unsure of his name) and the ladies in the pro shop were extremely helpful. They ended up refunding me (for a mistake that was not even their own, nor was it their responsibility) for the full round. Outstanding customer service. On top of that, the golf course was in phenomenal shape. Will be back for sure.

A nice course with a good contrast in elevations - however, a more challenging course to walk for some as a result. The front and back nine holes are near mirror images of each other.

The recent rains we've had didn't help, there were a lot of sections roped off and really wet. There were no bathrooms on the course, but a few times around you were near the clubhouse and could run fast to use the washrooms. Nice place, good course.

Great course and very well kept. Staff are friendly and helpful. Greens are very fast and play well. Scenery from the top of the tee boxes that go downhill is great.

The tee-boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The sand traps need more sand. The staff were courteous and welcoming.

The course has an interesting layout and the greens are in good shape. The bunkers are pretty rough but that's the case for most public courses. My issue is that when we showed up for our round on Labour Day Monday we were forced to take a cart. When we booked online there was an option to walk which is what we picked. Nowhere did it say we were going to have to cart. What frustrated us even more was that a guy in the group ahead of us was walking. When we asked about that the employee said "he's a member here and we know he's fast." This would've been a lot easier to swallow if there was at l…

My last 2 experience here were the worst experience I have ever had at a golf course and will never go back as long as Mr. I am the man that works there. Horrible person should be ashamed to employ this person i will share my experience with anyone and everyone who wants or will listen and will encourage others to spend their money somewhere else.

The course was in great shape and really enjoyed playing there but they ran out of carts and gave us the old carts covered in spider webs and black stains all over the seat from sitting out side and not being washed . First cart wouldn’t drive out of the parking lot and second couldn’t make it up a hill . Was very disappointed that with the price of cart fees there that’s what we were given and not offered any refunds . Likely won’t return .
