My date made reservations for us at the Lakeside Restaurant at Tanglewood Resort and when we arrived we learned it was closed for the season. That could have easily turned into a disappointing evening but Connie immediately stepped in and took ownership of the situation. Without hesitation she arranged a complimentary dinner for us at the Bar and Grill and made us feel completely valued as guests. Jamie then took care of us and she was outstanding. She was running the entire grill and still delivered flawless service. She was attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming. The food was five…

The room was cozy as we were in the suites tower. Elvis Presley theme was pretty coool. We really came down to fish with Texoma Trips Bass Guide Services which this hotel offers. Such an amazing time with our guide, Colt. Very humble guy with a big heart! Caught some monster striped bass and Colt was so helpful and friendly the whole time ! We weren’t out there for more than 20 mins before we reeled in these two monsters! Would definitely be coming back

Came on a “stay and play” package from the Dallas Golf Expo. The room: very spacious… a little outdated, but nice view from 5th floor of lake Texoma. The Tower Bar- by far our favorite part of the resort. The view was incredible, and a great choice of whisky/bourbon and craft cocktails. The food: disappointing and over priced. $14 for a BLT and fries? My wife had the breakfast buffet…$18 for food that looked like it had been sitting out for quite a while. She went in at 10:30 and shortly after starting was told she had to hurry up because they shut it down at 11:00. The Golf Course: 3/5. The p…

We loved the resort and how helpful the front desk was. We used Colt at Texoma Trips to arrange a guided fishing trip. It was wonderful, and we're bringing home lots of fish! Our guide, Chris, went above and beyond to help us catch fish. We highly recommend, and mentioning Colt got us a nice discount on our room!

Tanglewood Resort is a solid getaway. The staff is always great and the pools are consistently fun. The rooms are pretty outdated, but the overall experience still makes it an enjoyable place to stay—especially if you’re there to relax and have a good time.

Property looks great. Indoor and outdoor pool are nice. Food at restaurant was overly salty but good. The real problem was how “clean” the room was. We found a ball left in the nightstand and crumbs inside the dresser drawers. As well as trash left behind the toilet. The morning we checked out there was no water to shower or even flush the toilets

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love Tanglewood Resort! It has that vintage, classic charm that makes it feel nostalgic the minute you walk in. The views of Lake Texoma are unbelievable and the golf course is such a huge perk — it feels like a hidden retreat right here close to home. The indoor pool and hot tub are perfect for the Winter months, and the outdoor pool and bars are amazing when the weather is warm. There’s truly something for every season! I will say — I’d love to see a few updates in the near future to bring some fresh, modern touches while keeping that original charm that makes this…

Our family has stayed here on 2 occasions. Will not stay here again. Unless ownership changes. This place was just bought out. These people are going to go out of business. Fee after fee after fee is how you will spend you money here. Food is horrible. The Tequila bar in the top of the tower is very nice loved it. Service at this place is just not there. One tour of this place and you will want to leave. Much of this so called resort needs a remodel. Still back in the 1970s. Somebody with the money and experience can bring this resort back for the dead. Nails sticking up through all of the bal…

We stayed in the recently renovated building. It is very nice. The shower was amazing!! There was lots of pressure but gentle. The whole unit was roomy. With 3 adults, it was great to have a king and 2 queen beds. Lots to explore. We will be back next year.

Restaurants and service is fantastic. Internet is hopeless with entire weeks of on again and off again internet. For those who need daily internet connectivity, then this is serios drawback. For those who want natural beauty and clean room and wonderful restaurants and natures beauty and access to the lake, then this is a wonderful place.

The rooms are filthy. Within the first 5 minutes in the room, we found spiders. The towels are dirty and the shower has black spots. There is a weird smell in the rooms and the AC doesn’t work. There is lackluster evidence of the proper maintenance of carpets in the villa. The rooms aren’t livable and it’s disgusting to expect any human to stay in this room. Absolutely not a resort. And when they say villa, do not believe that cause those rooms and not anywhere close to what villas look like. This cannot be called not a resort especially with how disgusting everything is. All of the photos onl…

We had an impromptu girls trip and although the hotel was a little outdated, it was still a great time. The pool is a total vibe at night and a good mix of adult/family fun. The restaurants are decent. It’s definitely overpriced bar food but we didn’t come for fine dining. All in all this place was an insanely cheap room for the amount of fun we had.
