In summary

Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club is widely praised for its beautiful setting by Lake Texoma, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and friendly staff. The course is generally well-maintained, with many appreciating the improvements made over recent years, although some greens are noted to be inconsistent or under repair. While the GPS-equipped carts and reasonable green fees are appreciated, a few visitors have experienced slow pace of play and restrictions on cart usage in certain areas.

Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course… Highly highly recommend! Lots of elevation change & beautiful views of lake area. Really nice pro shop & food court. Friendly staff also!

Course looks better with every passing month for the past 2 years. The superintendent is moving in the right direction for sure. Fairways are getting back to early 2000s condition! Greens rolled great for the most part. GPS carts are a huge addition to keep cart traffic maintained. Just want to know why it’s cart path only on #5,6,14,17? It’s always cart trails only on these holes. My opinion #14 should be a short par 4, redesign the green and place it halfway up the hill. 👍

Played here for the first time today and I was very impressed! Beautiful place. Very challenging. Greens could be in better shape. Nice carts. GPS distances and green maps were helpful. $160 for two people make it more of an occasional treat but I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Was paired up with a couple of local members, thank goodness! The course is the one of the most picturesque I’ve ever played. It’s such a vast track on Lake Texoma and with all the rain it’s difficult for the grounds crew to keep up, particularly the Bermuda greens. If you don’t mind some bumpy greens in places, it’s ideal and very demanding. The views certainly make up for the course condition. That said, most all courses, I’ve played lately in OK have some ground/flooding issues.

Beautiful course, great layout, and the greens were true. It was my first time out (Fri, Oct 16th). I came in the afternoon around 4pm and there wasn't alot of cars. Pace of play was perfect for a single. The gentlemen gave me a discount for the first time coming out which was appreciated! I will be playing here when my buddies want to make a casino run. At a two hour drive, it's just out of reach for one of my regularly played courses. Still loved everything about my visit and I am looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend this course. Thanks Chickasaw Pointe!

Course is challenging with some picturesque views. We played twice this week and both times the course was so watered down that they didn't want you driving on like 7 of the fairways. You have to stay on the cart path and walk to your ball take it of the mud to hit it.Should'nt pay full price for a cart if you have to walk most of the course. Would have understood cart paths only if it had rained, but it hasn't rained this week.

Im from Arizona, and when I travel, I like to try to play different courses, and I was able to play Chickasaw Pointe. The greens were surprisingly fast, and overall, the course was in good shape for this time of summer. Staff was friendly, but the only bummer was they didn't have any more logo balls that is like to collect for every course I play. Just one less ball to add to my collection.

Course has gone through some changes since I played it last but it was in very good condition and the green rolled pretty good

Definitely a hidden gem, but be prepared with a few extra golf balls if you don't find the fairway every time. The elevation change on the back nine is incredible for the area. Some holes have approximately 100' of change. Only an hour from the northern side of the Metroplex. Course was in great shape.

Always enjoy playing golf at Chickasaw Pointe golf course during our annual DOGFEST Lots of fun playing golf for 3 days then playing cards and dominoes with a group of men at Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma after golf each day.

Had a great time at this course. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 were that some of the greens on the back were in sub par shape. That said, it’s obvious they are trying to fix them….so I can’t wait to come back next year. Course was a fun layout, lots of risk/reward. Fairways were great, staff was friendly, pace of play was good, and food/bev prices were much more reasonable than other courses. $80 for a weekend AM rate is good value. Definitely recommend, just be aware there are some spotty greens on the back 9.
