Taylors Creek Golf Course receives praise for its friendly staff, interesting course layout, and affordability, especially for military personnel. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, noting issues with fairways, greens, and tee boxes, as well as the need for better upkeep of practice areas. My wife and I played a weekday round with our friends, and the course was nearly empty, which made it very relaxing. The greens were in excellent condition compared to before, and we had a fantastic time. The staff were extremely kind and professional. We will definitely come back again

Played course on September 11th, 2023. The course is not terrible but also not great. The fairways look like they don't get much attention or the tee boxes. The greens honestly were not that bad with the exception of maybe 3-4 holes. The greens do need to be cut and rolled though. Practice areas are slightly below average and they do have a driving range. For a military course it isn't bad but I will say it's over priced for its conditions. If you're looking for a quick play then this is it but don't set expectations high. The course design is actually pretty interesting and makes you think on…

Enjoyed a round of golf at Taylor's Creek at Fort Stewart in the middle of January. Staff was friendly and helpful, greens were in great shape and the price was right. I will be back for sure!

The course is in extremely bad shape. From the practice green to the tee boxes to the fairways and greens. The trees have not been trimmed of the tee boxes. You have to hit to small gaps to get it to the fairways. The rough has a lot of downed dead limbs and sometimes trees just like HAAF golf course. Extremely disappointing.

A good little course that is affordable and promotes military history on Fort Stewart. Enough traps to make it interesting... watch out for gators in the water.

If you enjoy the game of golf don't waste your money here. The fairways are trash either dead grass or not mowed. the sand traps are just really big mud pits and the greens look like someone was trying to play wack-a-mole. the worst thing is the staff is very rude. all in all a very bad place to play.

This is the worst course I’ve ever played.. staff was friendly and that’s the only nice thing about this course. Prices are way too high for the course conditions. Half the time you can’t even tell what’s fairway and what’s rough it all looks like the rough. Greens are okay at best but for what they are charging the public and service members this course should be in way better condition. Save yourself time and money and the headache from dealing with the gate guards and go somewhere else and play.

So I went to Fort Stewart today to hit some range balls on the driving range, and the token machine was completely locked up and had to confront a staff about it being closed. I played this course two or three times in the past month, and the putting greens are terrible the fairway Are overgrown and the maintenance of the entire facility is subpar. I am not sure who is in charge of running this facility, but plenty of work need to be done to make this facility better for the soldiers, families and retirees that uses this facility. Not to mention if one drop of rain hits , this place completely…

Update 2023: Course is coming around, slowly but it's happening. Rough is a little rough so bring extra balls. 2021: Not a bad course for what it is. It is an army instillation golf course. Prices are based on rank and the course is maintained as cheaply as possible. The carts are in good repair, the fairways and tee boxes not so much. They need some help, they are working on it but there is a long way to go. The greens are pretty bad as well, they are working on it but progress is slow.

Are there fairways? No one knows. Every hit is either mud or sand. And ant hills on tee boxes. 10 out of 10 do not recommend

Taylor's Creek is a good course. You can't beat the special they have right now. After 12:00 pm it's only $21 for 18 holes with a cart. Wide fairways, decent roughs and decent greens. Staff is always friendly. All in all a great place to play.

This place needs some TLC. The rough needs to be mowed regularly. It had been so high the grass clippings were adding to it. I know keep your ball in the fairway and this would not be a problem. The greens are in rough shape also. Customer service in the clubhouse was not up to expectations either.
