In summary

Sterling Links Golf Club, now known as Richmond Hill Golf Course, receives high praise for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and impressive course layout, which many find both challenging and enjoyable. The recent renovations and improvements under new ownership have been positively received, enhancing the overall golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, staff attentiveness, and certain course conditions, such as hard fairways and limited parking facilities.

Lot of fun - grounds keepers are doing a great job. Very challenging with lots of water. Staff is friendly but need to wear mask when dealing with the public. Priced right and worth the drive from Savannah.

Shorter but target oriented course in better condition than some of the higher end private courses nearby. Friendly staff and very reasonable membership rates

Course is decent. The holes have wide fairways and hazards are limited. Overpriced in my opinion. Also Club is going private as of Jan 1st.

Greens are the best around. Fairways are in great shape. They keep the rough just thick enough to penalize you if you miss the fairway. Course is short but challenging. The Staff is top knotch!

In my opinion, the best course in the area, yes I have played all major courses in the area. The greens are green, unlike other courses where the greens are green and brown. The fairways and ruff are also in great shape.

Great layout and well planned design. Fastest and smoothest greens outside of Augusta National!

Sterling Links Golf course is now called Richmond Hill Golf course. New ownership has spent many dollars in improvement. This golf course is now a top notch professional golf course, from a new club house to the golf course.

From the time I arrived around noon to the time I left, I experienced a completely professionally run operation. I hit some practice balls at the range went to the beautiful putting green and then headed for the first tee. The course was cart path only because of some morning rains but we're still very playable all the way around. Loved the greens and the entire course was in tremendous shape. The bunkers were professionally maintained as well. I decided that I would stay in Savannah and play again the next day because I enjoyed playing there so much. Thank you to all those working at the cour…

Went to try the course today being very interested in a membership. Upon arrival the staff seemed very inconvenienced that non members had a trial tee time. We were questioned if we even lived near the course and the staff asked who even let us book a time. The course was in great shape and the practice area was really nice. The clubhouse is pretty far from the 1st and 10th tee. there was a halfway house between 5 and 13 but for 10 minutes we waited inside with Noone to serve us. The dog in the cage refused to check us out. For a $1500 up front fee you think they would be a little more invitin…

The good: Greens rolled perfect. Cart paths are brand new. Clubhouse is also new. Conditions are really good. Carts new with gps. The bad: The entire course is as hard as a rock. Greens are difficult to hold. Hitting off the fairway is almost painful. Ball marks on every green - not the fault of management Overall the new owners did a great job bringing this course back to life. I just dont like the layout but try it for yourself. It's a pleasure to see someone take an interest in restoring the course

Incredible improvements with new ownership and management. Practice facility and people are super helpful and friendly.. Course has a lot of risk reward holes and is in good shape, instruction is top notch. Enjoying it weekly and glad we have it in RH.
