The Landings Club

Asher was an outstanding employee! He needs a raise or promotion ASAP!!! He tended to my every need and made me feel like a part of the Landings family!

As other reviews have noted, The Landings Golf & Athletic Club is in a beautiful location with many upscale amenities to offer. But in our family’s experience, there’s also a far less attractive side of The Landings Club. Nearly 15 years ago, we began waiting for the contractually obligated refund of our parent’s resigned Equity Membership purchased over three decades ago. The Landings Club on Skidaway Island is much more than a private country club; it’s a community. A 6,300-acre gated community that includes 6 championship golf courses designed by such world-class architects: Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Arthur Hills, and Willard Byrd. A community that includes 31 tennis courts, 11 pickleball courts, and eight bocce courts. And one of them is arguably the area’s best fine dining steakhouse, named after the King himself, Arnold Palmer. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the golf courses are nice and the bartenders pour heavy. The customer service is awful throughout most of the club, the food is pretty terrible everywhere, and the amenities/programs lack any imagination. If you’re looking to retire somewhere, there are many better options in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area or Florida. The Landings could be fantastic, but the consistently under perform and they’ve shown zero ability to improve in the 8 years we were members. We’re moving next week!

We built a home here 8 years ago and are so happy we did! The surrounds and lifestyle is perfect. All of the people are friendly and easy to meet and become friends. We love it!

My family and I have lived here 10 years. We love the gorgeous marsh views! The golf courses make a pretty view, too.

Best gated golf community in the Southeast in my humble opinion. This place has it all. The difference maker being the people. Warm welcoming individuals who have decided that The Landings is the place for them.

Cool track. Played Amateur tourney here in the middle of summer and course was in great shape. Shot bogey free 66 in final round which helped my opinion of the course even more.

It has been here awhile and is so beautiful. Always love it when I can golf here!

This is a wonderful community to retire. They are currently building a fantastic new area designed solely for retirees. Give them a call or stop by for a visit!
