Wilmington Island Club

The Savannah Country Club (formerly the Wilmington Island Club) was the most perfect venue for our wedding reception! The ballroom was remodeled over the summer with neutral tones and looks very classy. Our reception was very elegant and it was everything we had imagined it to be. The outdoor area is beautiful and made for some lovely photos as well. Ashli Godwin, who is the food and beverage director, was a dream to work with. Very well maintained and relatively challenging golf course! Really nicely laid out, the clubhouse folks are super nice and just a wonderful day of golf! Came for one day to play with a couple of friends and they have a really nice driving range too. Awesome place!

SCC is wonderful. The staff, the activities and the food are all wonderful. This club truly is a close knit family. Loved being a member.

The Savannah Country Club was the host for the Summer Swing fundraiser for the Fresh Air Home on Tybee Island. The fundraiser was a success! The food, staff, and location was great. Our guest had a grand time. Thank you for supporting the Fresh Air Home on Tybee Island.

Celebrated Dad's 91st Birthday in Heron Room at the Savannah Country Club. The room was beautiful overlooking the golf course and lake. Kirsten arranged floral table center pieces with hydrangeas flowers that were just beautiful. The food was well prepared, delicious, and warm. Our event included sound and audio-visual presentation that went perfectly. Our guests enjoyed the bar and dinner in a beautiful setting. The Savannah Country Club Team were warm and friendly. I couldn't recommend them more highly for your special event.

Just enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday Brunch in the ballroom - Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese, Deviled Eggs, Salad, Fresh Fruit, Prime Rib, Shrimp & Grits, Fried Chicken & Waffles, Crab Stuffed Flounder, Country Ham, Au Gratin Potatoes, Macaroni & Cheese, Haricots Verts, Brussel Sprouts with Bacon & Carmelized Onions, Savannah Red Rice, Squash Casserole, Carrot Cake, Coconut Cake, Key Lime Bars, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Bars, Muffins, Bottomless Mimosas, and the Easter Bunny - all accompanied by great service and a beautiful setting.

The facilities are top-notch, the food is excellent, and the staff are great! The bar is beautiful and the bartenders are some of the best in the area. I love the vodka tonic drinks. The pool is so nice in warm weather, and the food that is served at the pool is my favorite! The tennis courts are in excellent condition, and the golf course is beautiful and has a long history of great players to play the course.

Beautiful setting. Food usually excellent but the shrimp salad sandwich had no taste. They use the small frozen shrimp to make it. Live and learn but still a great place to come. Home-made chips are wonderful.
