In summary

Black Creek Golf Club is praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, friendly and helpful staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course layout is appreciated for its mix of challenging and straightforward holes, with recent tornado damage adding a unique character to the landscape. However, some visitors have noted issues with cart paths, signage, and additional fees, and there are mixed feelings about the pace of recovery from storm damage.

Awesome golf course. The course is in excellent condition, especially considering it recently endured a tornado. You can still see a few subtle reminders of the storm, which somehow add a unique sense of character and charm to the layout. A couple of greens show minor damage, but repairs are clearly underway and being handled with care. The fairways roll beautifully, the greens are smooth, and the pace of play is great. The value is unbeatable for a course of this quality, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Overall, this is a top-notch course that continues to impres…

I had a blast here today. The course has drastically changed due to the tornado, and it’s a welcome change. Greens and tee boxes that were neglected due to lack of sunlight have access to it now and it shows. The staff are friendly with Mrs Jo in the pro shop and Dale ensuring everyone has checked in and is enjoying themselves as the starter and course marshal. It’s $45 for 18 holes and a cart. That is the best rate in the Savannah area! The golf carts are newer as well, and have two usb ports for charging phones or any accessories that you might bring to the course with you. I absolutely enjo…

I've been playing Black Creek golf club as often as I can because it is a HIDDEN JEWEL. It has blind spots, (which means beauty in my book), as well as a few straight-on greens that are all magnificently groomed. The ball rolls good in the mostly, fairly-wide fairways. The staff has done a tremendous amount of work in creating good cart paths ( some bridges are still being rebuilt after the tornado wiped them out, and the temporary clubhouse has the amenities it needs. The Staff (especially JoAnn, and her staff), and Ray, the starter who listened to my golf jokes, are dedicated to making the g…

Going to give them 4 instead of 3 because they're clearly trying to come back from serious weather damage that has affected the front. The course is recovering but it'll take a while for the border areas fill in. On the short side & an interesting layout. Leave the woods in the car to make it extra challenging.

After 3 days of heavy rain, the course was definitely rough; which is not their fault. We were surprised it was open at all today. It is hard to know where to go for the next hole sometimes. There isn't much for food and drink options (and no outside food and drink allowed), but the original clubhouse was recently destroyed by a tornado. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only warning for my disabled friends is that there are a lot of small hills that you will need to walk on that are decently far from the cart path. The course itself is along the river. Lots of geese, ducks, squirrels…

The desk person was super friendly and helpful , as it was our first time there playing. It's a pretty bare bones course and the greens were being worked on a few of the holes. The back 9 is a much better layout than the front 9. Overall it was a good day, and the course is about what you'd expect for the price. About a 35 minute drive from midtown Savannah.

Love this place. Friendly staff and with a nice course. It's my go to golf course since moving to the Savannah area last summer. Good price for a nice course in a peaceful location. You can make a tee time online or by calling. They have a driving range between the clubhouse and the 1st tee which is nice when you need to hit a few balls before starting your round. The putting green is also in that same location. The front nine is open similar to a links course but with a few more trees but still challenging enough for someone with a 14 handicap like myself. The back nine is more challenging an…

Had a tee time booked for a week ahead of 7/11/25 for the morning. Drive over a hour to get here only to find out that they decided to not open to 11! Sure would have been nice for them to notify people. This is a complete and total lack of professionalism by the course.

Cart paths are very rough, absent in some places. The greens are in real good shape. There has been some improvements on the driving range with installation of some computerized trackers. There are plans to rebuild and reopen Bogies bar and grill and the pro shop as it was. $35 for 9 holes weekdays.
