In summary

Lost Plantation Golf Club is appreciated for its beautiful layout and challenging course design, with many noting improvements in the greens and overall course conditions. The staff and amenities, including the clubhouse and bar, receive positive feedback for their friendliness and quality. However, some visitors express concerns about drainage issues after rain, slow pace of play, and occasional customer service challenges.

The course is a good layout but the water makes it unplayable since it can’t dry out. This is the 2nd time we’ve come out here now and the course was just underwater. The clubhouse was nice and they did give us a refund on the round.

Greens were in great shape and rolled well. Position off the tee is important and for a few holes we didn’t use a driver because of this. Beautiful layout through the woods. Even after the rain the course was in great shape. Golf shop guy was very kind and helpful. Would play again if in the area!

This course is my home course been playing here for years now. The greens at one point were so rough you couldn’t help but get angry with missing your point. But as of now the greens are in the best shape I’ve seen in a long time. Along with some new flags for the pins greens look really good. Tee boxes are getting better they still need a little work but you can see the effort is being put in. It has a lot of narrow holes and some serious dog legs, so the course can be challenging for the average slice. But who doesn’t love a challenge. Biggest concern when playing this course if it rain…

Overall I enjoy the challenge of this course. You will have many different club decisions to make through out the round. The greens have improved this year. Some tee boxes need some TLC but most are not bad. They have an app that makes it easy to book a tee time. My only real complaint is pace of play. They need a starter on the weekends. To many twosomes on the course. I wish they would put twosomes together to form a foursome to help pace of play. Also, it would help with people jumping the line trying to tee off earlier than their tee time. Tee box 1 and 10 are right next to one another so…

Great course and awesome conditions! I’m giving two stars only because the girl at the register was absolutely terrible. Almost ruined our experience because her attitude was so bad. Just snotty and horrible customer service.

For a high handicapper like myself, this course is very challenging. Fairways are narrow, bunkers are a bit hard, and houses are very close on some holes which is stressful. But overall, the course is decently maintained, staff is polite and friendly, and the clubhouse is nice (although currently undergoing updates and construction). The driving range is nice as well, although the practice green could use some attention. Overall, I'm more than satisfied and will be returning regularly. $25 rounds on Tuesday is a heck of a deal.

It seems that the long renovation work is finally nearing completion. The course was truly beautiful, and many of the facilities have been restored, making them convenient to use. After heavy rain, drainage was not very smooth, which made play a bit challenging, but I expect this will be resolved once the ongoing renovations are fully completed.

The course is working to improve, they have temporary greens on some holes. The plus is the green side grill food and drinks to ease the sting of that trippel in your round.

Great atmosphere! Really good food! This place isn't just for golfers. Don't let the drive through the neighborhood fool you. It's worth it.!

I wrote a review 9 months ago. What has NOT CHANGED 1. Golf carts need to go where one ball is - like near tree lines and not be hindered by the stupid cart tracker. The cart kept telling me I'm in an wrong area - I was on the fairway. Carts kept 30 feet from the green if fine, but not 100 feet - the same for the T boxes. THE CART TRACKING SYSTEM IS SHIT !!!!!! Walking in 90 plus heat is not fun for 18 holes for anyone especially seniors who have difficulty walking. 2. DRINKING WATER IS NEEDED ON THE COURSE. 3. Grill. It improved spectacularly !!! Theses are a no-brainer to implement and are E…

I've been playing this course for years. I've seen the ups and downs. The course has improved so much over the last few years and the new management and staff are doing an incredible job. The carts are all updated with gps, the greens have all been re-done, and all the cart paths are brand new concrete. No more bumpy rides and balls falling out of your bag or drinks spilled. This course has quickly turned into one of the best, and most challenging in the entire area. The Greenside Bar and Grille is a bonus with lunch and drink specials. Keep it up!!!
