In summary

Cherokee Rose Country Club is appreciated for its scenic layout, featuring live oaks and water bodies, and offers a good value for its greens fees and cart rentals. The course is undergoing improvements, particularly on the greens, which have been a point of criticism for some players. While the staff is generally praised for their friendliness, issues such as overbooking, lack of certain amenities, and occasional maintenance disruptions during play have been noted.

Cherokee Rose is a great course! They are rebuilding their greens right now but don't let that turn you away! This is only my third time playing here today, overall I'm impressed and I can't wait to see what is in-store here in the near future!!! One last thing the staff is exceptional here!!!

First time visiting. Overall it was fine. Some greens/tee boxes are in a great shape, and some are not as good. Not too sure if they always mow while people are playing, but we found mowers working on two holes of back 9. One time, we had to wait since they are mowing the green. Another time, the mower was mowing near the green in between we are hitting the ball around the green. It was very distracting.

Not in the best shape, no military discount which is odd for a hinesville which has a high military populous. they also dont offer afternoon tee times or serve alcohol but they let patrons bring their own. Also the families that live on the course play as they please which had us stuck behind a family with a young boy teeing up at ever hit he took in the fairway which as you can imagine took quite some time.

Booked 18 holes 3 days in advanced. Once I got there at 9am with all my friends and family they said they were over booked and couldn’t take us until 230pm. Never called or apologized.

Beautiful course right in the middle of Hinesville. Plays through a neighborhood and alongside a main road. The course is very well maintained.

I am a weekend golfer at most. I just started taking my clubs with me out of town. The golf course is ok.Played a lot better for a lot cheaper. COST IS ridiculous. I played 9 holes, and the cost was 41 bucks. I asked why so much, and they said doing improvements. Golf courses like this discourage every golfer from wanting to play more. Sorry to say I won't be going back to this course. What a shame....

This is a 3 star golf course but I gave it 4 because the walking rate cannot be beat and I really enjoyed playing this course. There are a couple greens that they are working on with one temp green on hole 10. I can't wait for the hole 10 green to be in great shape because it looks like a lot of fun. I want to play this course again very soon maybe Friday! This course shouldn't be overlooked it is a great value and is a fun design.

Cherokee Rose is a great golf course. The front nine is somewhat short, but with challenging holes. The back nine is longer and slightly more open. Overall it is a beautiful course with live oaks, pine trees, and several bodies of water throughout. The greens fee and cart rental is among the most reasonable in the area.

The course was short from tips, greens were sub-par in size and overall condition. No driving range and a poorly maintained, small practice green. Carts are newer well kept and reasonable to rent. Easy course to walk.

I've played 6 rounds here in the last year. The fairways and greens are well kept! The greens do play a little soft, mainly due to the area being so wet, so you can play aggressive at the pin. The lay weaves through an old neighborhood adorned with old oaks and spanish moss. The feel is great! The neighborhood has some shabby houses that bring down the prestige of the place...but for $12 to walk 18 its a freaking amazing deal and the best value I've found in georgia. $40 quality, for goat track prices! I really love playing here!
