What People Say

In summary

The Beaufort Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and accommodating staff, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The scenic location near the ocean provides a pleasant breeze, enhancing the playing conditions. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors mention the high price and occasional issues with rental equipment and signage.

Incredible experience today even with the dormant hybrid Bermuda. Day started off brisk and cool and some dampness in the air, and ended with bright sunny conditions and 63 degrees. If you don’t like water, you may have trouble here, but I absolutely LOVED the course. Taylor (think I got his name right) was very accommodating as it was my first visit. Will be back and highly recommend! Thank you!

Beaufort Club is always in excellent condition year-round. The course is well maintained, the greens roll true, and the layout is enjoyable for all handicap levels. It’s playable for beginners but still offers enough challenge to keep better players engaged. A great course that’s always worth playing.

In spite of the strong winds, we played 18 holes with little wind affect. However, many more signs are needed to guide golfers to the tees!! Geens were soft and true. Fairways were lush with minimal wet areas. Very nice course to play.

Great course! Challenging, well maintained, and a good deal for what is offered. Definitely one of the best - if not the best - course in or around the Crystal Coast!

Beautiful, well-maintained course and range. Near the sound and ocean so nearly always a good breeze - never feels too hot to play. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. And The Blue Heron (open most evenings too) is one of the best places to eat in eastern NC - focus is on local seafood and vegetables.

Best greens I have ever played on. Not that I am a well traveled golfer but it was much better than most greens I have putted on. Only complaint is the scorecard needs a diagram of each hole layout. Quite helpful for first-time visitors.

Course was in good shape. The only problem we had was if you were off the fareway. The grass was so deep if you weren't right on top of your ball. It took forever to find it if not impossible.

Played at the Beaufort last year in July when visiting my friend in the area. Beautiful course, great layout, challenging but fun. Great staff as well. Why 4 starts? Two reasons. One, a bit pricey honestly. Maybe that's the going rate for NC courses but man wish the fee was $15 cheaper. Two, since I was visiting, I didn't have my clubs and needed to rent a set. They didn't have a good set - the rented clubs (albeit free of charge? if i remember correctly) was a collage lost-never-found clubs. Even my local clubs offer a better rental options. Would I play here again? Yeah...because despite t…
