The Golf Club at Moffett Field is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, scenic layout, and friendly staff, providing a pleasant golfing experience for both casual and seasoned players. The course is noted for being walkable with a strategic design that offers a rewarding challenge. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about pricing discrepancies, mosquitoes, and the condition of the driving range mats. Additionally, the presence of bees and early closure of the grill have been mentioned as areas for improvement.

Greens were really nice. There was quite a bit of free standing water due to recent rains, but overall the course was in decent shape. It's too bad that golfers do not fix ball marks on the green replace their divots in the fairway or rake the bunkers after hitting out of them - this is not the courses fault, but a reminder by the starter wouldn't be a bad idea. The photo is the long par 3 on the back 9 into a pretty strong head wind. Today it played about 190 from the white tees and I left it short right on the fringe

Yesterday's weather was wonderful with a cool breeze, but the bees on some holes and in the portable restrooms were a bit threatening. Then, when I got home and saw my receipt, I was shocked again. They told there was no reservation fee for tee times. A week ago, when I made my reservation online, the confirmation I received showed $74 per person (total $296), excluding cart fees. But Yesterday, at the clubhouse, I was charged an additional $80 per person (total $320), plus cart fees. I called this morning to inquire, but they said they couldn't confirm because the staff had changed. This is t…

Walked on, on a Tue morning and caught up to a 3-some fairly quickly. All walkers so worked out well. Retired Military so getting onto the property was easy. Although my partners said getting in with Real ID was easy also. I paid the military rate, which is quite agreeable for a Bay Area course. My partners were all Troon rewards members and they got a great deal also for using points, so there's that. Course is a nice layout, easily walkable, but pretty dry in several areas. I was also told that when the wind us up it's very hard to have a good round. Good view of the blimp hangars and funky…

I enjoyed it here for twilight. We couldn't finish all the holes but we manage to finish 7 or so. Not a hard course at all, very wide fairways. If you can't hit a driver it might be difficult. Twilight price wasn't great unfortunately. It has a tendency to be COLD since the bay is right there. Snack bar has a decent amount of beers. Everybody was friendly. I haven't tried the food. The driving range is OK. The mats are rough, there is no cushion so if you are still working on a swing and have a tendency to take divots you will have a very bad time here. My friend managed to snap his 3 wood h…

This golf course is beautifully maintained, offering lush fairways and smooth greens that make every round enjoyable. The layout is both challenging and rewarding, with scenic views that add to the experience. The staff are welcoming and attentive, making it a perfect place for both seasoned players and beginners to enjoy the game.

This is a course situated in a restricted zone, remember to bring your ID to be allowed to get in the area Course-wise,very simple layout while somehow interesting, like the tee box of Hole 3 is right next to the tee box of Hole 8, and you need to walk back 70 yards from the green of Hole 6 to the tee box of Hole 7. 2 things worth mentioning, one is that you get to play golf while watching some fighter jets, so cool, the other thing is that there's so many mosquitoes 🦟, OMG 😱, probably the most I've ever encountered.

Moffett Field Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience with its scenic layout and challenging course. The well-maintained greens and fairways provide a great test for golfers looking for fun. The club’s friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere make it an inviting place for a round of golf. While the course might be on the shorter side, its strategic design ensures a rewarding game. Overall, Moffett Field is a charming spot for both casual players and enthusiasts.

Nice course with some difficult holes. It was windy but would be a great place to play on hot days, since it will be cooler with the breeze from the Bay. Next time I will bring bug spray because there were a lot of mosquitoes. I was disappointed that the Grill closed so early. We had a 2 PM tee time, and when we came in at the turn, a little after 4, the Grill was already closed. We couldn't even get any water. I wish we would have known they closed so early so we could have stocked up before we went out. If there was a sign posted with the hours I missed it, however the website says the Gril…

Update 9/9/2020 Play with Orange Sky Covid-19 Since COVID-19 opening on this golf course, the price has gone up, haven't played here often. Yesterday, my friend booked online special for $38 per person walking, so we went. It happened to have Orange Sky due to fire smoke everywhere, but the air was quite nice and the grass was actually wet. We really like this golf course, it's quite long for us short distance players but it's well kept even with COVID-19. One little problem, MOSQUITOS are everywhere and we did get bit LOL. I added some pictures of the whole golf course with orange sky but hol…

Always love playing here. The staff are always nice, and joke around with you. The greens were in great shape, fairways were pretty beat up and wet. But had a good time. I would recommend it.

Played The Golf Club at Moffett Field today. I am and born and raised here and I cannot recall playing this course before (very similar in design to Sunnyvale Muni, Shoreline Golf Links, and the old Palo Alto Muni) but definitely my first time to the property. 1. Perfect course for all skill levels, AND THEY LOVE supporting juniors and the tournaments! 2. Great practice range and short game area with big putting green. 3. Fast but smooth greens with nice slope! Need to keep ball below the hole. And most greens still have traditional turtle back design and ball easily rolls of edges! 4. 650…

Great place to hit your driver and it’s a full 72-PAR course. Great place to learn putting and chipping. The driving range does not have the hole for the rubber tee so bring your tee.
